Stayed at Rose Villa for one night at the conclusion of walking St Cuthbert's Way. This a a very comfortable B&B and Barbara Kyle is a kind and helpful hostess. Had an upstairs double bed room with ensuite. The ensuite has a shower over bath arrangement giving the best of both worlds and as a walker the relaxation luxury of...

Stayed in twin room over looking the green which was very comfortable. Very quiet and excellent nights sleep followed by cracking full English breakfast served by friendly landlady. Look forward to returning.

Booked the Manor House but our dates got confused. They suggested I contact Barbara at Rose Villa and what a great suggestion. We had both rooms - ensuite, modern and comfy. Wish we could have opened the windows but she asked us not to, due to wind levels. Nice views. Great full English breakfast prepared and served by Barbara herself....

Stayed in double room, with air mattress on floor for 15 yr old grandson. Barbara couldn't be lovelier. Room over looked causeway allowing grandson to keep us posted as to the state of the tides coming in and going out. Breakfast was full English and filling. Also had smoked haddock one morning. Family chose smoked salmon. When we complimented the...

Everything about Rose Villa was perfect for our stay on Holy Island. On arrival there was a note & key directing us to our room as the landlady was out. In fact, due to our busy schedule we didn't meet Barbara until breakfast the next day even though she herself was available. The room was large, bright and airy with...

After discovering we didn't have the hotel accommodation booked that we thought we did, we frantically rang around and found a room free at Rose Villa. Went to the Island with some trepidation to be met by a delightful lady called Barbara. I cannot speak for a previous reviewer, but Barbara was so warm and friendly. The double ensuite room...
