Over the years we have visited lots of B& B's throughout the UK, especially in Northumberland, but Newminster Cottage gets 10 out of 10 from...

Lovely B&B , situated close to the town centre -it is well appointed, well organised , immaculately clean and has modern facilities.I would recommend it for business or leisure trips. There are a good range of decent eating places nearby.

Wonderful host and superb location. Situated along side a river just a short pleasant walk into town. Nearby restaurants and amenities. Excellent breakfasts provided by Sid who is a most congenial host. Will definitely be back.

One night stop during "road trip" - good location for town and nice accommodation with helpful host. We were in the room at the front which despite the location was quiet. best to sort out parking with Paul the host and don't forget to order your breakfast the night before.
