I recently stayed at the Redesdale Arms again and as always it was a great visit. It was my first stop on the start of a holiday travelling around the UK and I was a little nervous as I hadn’t been far from home since the national lockdown but Carroll and Mark were so kind and welcoming. They had all COVID guidelines in place and I felt really safe and comfortable there. My room was spotless and as comfortable as ever. I also had dinner which was super and the restaurant was set up really well and the food and staff were great. It was such a nice way to start my holiday during these unprecedented times and great to be so well looked after. I know I’ll be back again hopefully in the not too distant future.
My daughter and I took a trip after several months locked in to sort out some business in the Scottish Borders. On the way back we stopped in at the Redesdale. It was lovely and safely run with all of the protection for Customers and Staff to the fore. We sat outside and had a great lunch looking out over the Dale . Go and enjoy the hospitality at this great wee pub, you won't regret it.
Stayed for two nights and couldnt fault the hotel. The staff and owner were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Carrol sorted out a drying room for our very wet motorbike gear even though she was busy in the restaurant. Also nice and central for both coast and country. Definately stay here again.
Lovely spacious room with a gorgeous view over the moorland. Incredibly clean and covid safe. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was delicious too. The home cut chips were beaut. Peaceful and quiet location.
We had a great stay at the Redesdale Arms. Good clean rooms, lovely food (I recommend the Hodgepodge pie and the homemade Baileys cheesecake) and a beautiful location right in the middle of the National Park, with views across the moor.
