This really is a wonderful place - in every sense. Jill and Jeff always greet guests with warmth, which sets the tone for the stay that follows. It is rare for any form of accommodation to get everything right but it happens here on a consistent basis. In the lovely chapel conversion you are shown to your well planned, quiet room with super comfy bed. The breakfasts are brilliant with lots of lovely touches (fresh flowers on the table, subtle St Cuthbert's branding on the table mats etc.). The breafast itself is so good and plentiful that we have never had lunch anywhere during our stays in Seahouses. Jeff and Jill are always (unobtrusively) on hand to offer suggestions, help and advice if needed. They are interested and interesting people. We can't wait for the next visit!

The highest compliment you can offer is to return again regularly. We don't take that for granted, and we're pleased that you find SCH a place you want to return to. Thanks for your affirmation and encouragement - see you next time!

We could be classed as regulars, but a stay here never disappoints. We had a fantastic trip and it coincided with one of the monthly house concerts. As a resident we get a ticket and seat saved for us. It's so relaxing to be sat on a sofa right at the front with a glass of house wine or local ale. The musicians are of very high quality (this was our third concert). I almost don't want to rave about it too much, in case we cant get in next time we want to. The location, bedrooms and breakfasts are all top quality. Look forward to going back in 2020.

This was our fourth visit to St Cuthbert’s this year and we have visited several times over the last four years. We think this speaks volumes! Our hosts Jeff & Jill have paid great attention to detail and the whole place has an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The welcome we receive is always warm and the service and food exemplary. The area is one of rugged beauty and is steeped in history. We will return!

We spent three nights at St Cuthbert’s and our stay was perfect in every way. Jeff and Jill are generous and fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was amazing, a very comfortable bed, beautiful decor and lots of homely touches. I would recommend to anyone to stay at St Cuthbert’s - you won’t be disappointed!!!
