Just had a two night break here with my mum which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The weather was appalling but our twin room was cosy and warm and we felt snug and cosy throughout our stay. Rooms are clean and well equipped and we loved the quirkiness of this pub/hotel. Food was delicious, we ate here both nights and every...

We were really looking forward to our dinner here. However the scampi were more air and breadcrumbs than fish and the steak looked like it may have been microwaved and was over done. We've just returned from 3 days in Seahouses at the Olde Ship Inn. We can thoroughly recommend the Upper Deck. It's a great suite to spend time in, especially when it's cold and miserable outside. Breakfasts at the Olde Ship are brilliant and dinners are very good, especially the smoked fish chowder. All the staff are wonderful!!

There are two or three rooms to sit and eat but everyone had crowded into the main bar because that was the warmest option on a cold Saturday. This meant that it was a little cramped while I was trying to eat my crab salad, which I otherwise enjoyed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A tip though; they don't take...
