We booked last year for a weekend away with my in laws to celebrate their Golden Wedding so were really pleased the hotel and restaurant had reopened in time. The welcome from the reception staff could have been warmer and the check in time has changed however we weren't advised of this and one of our party was told to 'go away' and come back later when they attempted to check in at 14:00. The rooms are clean and comfortable and in particular we can recommend the Snug which is huge and has air conditioning which was a bonus as the weather was warm. We opted not to have the room serviced during our stay but nevertheless would have appreciated the tea and milk being replenished. We ate in the restaurant both nights (booked in advance) and were impressed with the social distancing and cleaning measures put in place. Our server (Australian lady) was most welcoming and friendly. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Breakfast had to be pre ordered the day before with a time and was served promptly. I was a little disappointed that having known it was a Golden Wedding celebtration there was no acknowledgement of this during our stay. I wasn't expecting any freebies but a note in the room would have been a nice gesture.

Booked a 3 night stop while travelling round the UK. Located just at the edge of the main town high street. The rooms are small but cosy and equipped with all mod cons like a Netflix/Smart enabled tv and power shower.

The restaurant did a great breakfast and their evening menu was very impressive and seemed popular with the locals. Even with the current COVID restrictions they had done a really great job keeping the hotel clean, safe and organised.

If you had a large family this hotel may be a touch small for you, but it’s perfect for couples looking for a little bit of r&r. It really felt like a quaint family run little business that was doing a great job.

I didn’t realised I had booked a 2 star hotel and thought it would just be ok. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel first we arrived early and was met by a lovely lady to check us in very friendly and helpful. We got our room straight away no hassle. When we entered the back way up the fire escape from the car park you got the old building smell but wasn’t unpleasant. Our room was at the end of the building it was very large and clean. You got the basic stuff, tea making facilities, one bedside table, 2 floor standing lamps and a chair, but the bed was very large and very comfortable we had a really good nights sleep. The bathroom was fairly small but big enough for us. You also got a fan heater if your room wasn’t hot enough with the radiator. Believe me it did warm the room after awhile.
The food was very good we ate in the restaurant but you could eat in the bar area if you preferred my husband had the fish goujons I had prawns he had chilli con carni and I had scampi they were delicious. We didn’t have a desert as we were full. The next morning we had breakfast it was enormous if you have a full breakfast and add toast we couldn’t finish it all but was very good.
We had drinks in the bar again very clean and welcoming, the lady behind the bar was very friendly chatty and professional. She then welcomed us for breakfast the next day.
The hotel is on the main road through seahouses but with the windows closed you didn’t hear it. Also it is only a 5 minute walk from the sea. It really is a nice quaint place to visit.
We would definitely return to this hotel again and have already recommended it to some friends.
On a end note they followed covid rules mask wearing was required when entering until sat down. All tables sanitised when customers left and staff wore masks.

Stayed here on the Sunday saver deal, 2 nights b&b with evening meal for 2 on the first night for an amazing £109.
We were given a family room, I double bedroom plus 2 single beds in an adjoining room.
Bathroom was small but adequate with a nice powerful shower, note: the bathroom was adjoining the double bedroom. The room was nicely heated and decorated.
The bar and restaurant area were nicely presented with modern decor.
Must say the food and service is excellent, we come here to eat even when not staying in the hotel.
This was our first stay but hopefully won't be our last.
This hotel is rated 2 star but don't let that put you off, this is a great place which should be rated much higher in my opinion.

The room was a fair size, it was quiet during our visit, so not much noise from other visitors. The bathroom was lovely, recently refurbished, the room just needed a little updating.

The location was great, not far from Cromer or Sheringham, some lovely walks from the area.

We ate in the Hole in One restaurant, which was lovely, relaxed and again the staff were very tentative, and went out of their way to make sure you had a good experience.

We used the swimming pool and we were the only ones in there. Would of been even nicer if they had a sauna, steam room or jacuzzi.

Overall the staff were very helpful and managing the new changes from the pandemic very well.

Staying up in Northumberland and saw that the Links had a steak night on wednesdays so we rang and booked a table and are so glad that we did.
We both really enjoyed our meal of ribeye chips and veg which came with a very drinkable Merlot, all for £21.95. The steaks were cooked to perfection, very tasty and tender.
Can certainly recommend this place.

We visited this place again as we’d enjoyed it the week before. The service was very good and the staff really hard working. We both had two courses taking advantage of the August deal. When the food arrived I was impressed by the presentation and how well cooked it was. My steak was one of the best I’ve had. When I asked about the chef I was told he was the owner. Even at full price this place is very good value for money Pet friendly if you eat in the bar and a welcoming atmosphere

The restaurant at the hotel is perfect. Some real deals here with exceptionally well cooked food. Covid measures are generally very good with menus cleaned after use and staff well equipped. Perhaps insufficient spacing of tables needs a little adjustment, maybe removing some would help. Generally though would come again.

just back from staying at the Links
Not a pleasant experience. The hotel is run on a system designer to reduce costs to a minimum. Meals have to be booked in advance i.e.. breakfast the night before so that they don't cook one sausage to many.
I appreciate that there are difficulties with bar service because of the pandemic.
however the service was poor and contradictive, being told not to got to bar then being told there was no table service, by a waitress with an aggressive attitude.
Most galling however was being told we would have to book tables to have a drink the following night, which we did for our party of 25.only to be told the next night that we (hotel guests)would have to go and sit outside so that people of the streets could come in to eat.
plainly we had paid our money so we were no longer any use to them and they could make more money from getting people of the streets and moving us out.
if you plan to stay here especially if your a golf party don't there are better hotels in Seahouses that appreciate guests.

We booked at for a twin bed room and it was a nice size with a large tv and en-suite shower room, the shower room was rather snug for some one of a larger size. A tight fit to get into the shower and the hand basin was smaller than a child’s toy.
The bar was great with plenty of seating and a well stocked bar. I could not fault the restaurant, every thing was cooked fresh and to perfection. Jason looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was spectacular, full cereal and continental buffet plus any hot food you wanted including the full English.

Only stayed the once and did not encounter any problems. Maybe a chat with the staff and refuse that room if no improvements have been made.Like to think they could help.
