When it comes to top seaside locations, the award-winning Bamburgh Castle Inn in Northumberland is hard to beat. Named Tourism Pub of the Year 2015 in the North East England Tourism Awards, The Bamburgh Castle Inn overlooks the harbour in the fishing village of Seahouses. Newly refurbished, this friendly inn with 33 en-suite rooms has all the charm of the seaside with amazing sea view rooms. Enjoy a drink or eat al fresco in our elevated beer garden with its amazing views of the Northumberland coast towards the Farne Islands and the inn's namesake - Bamburgh Castle. If you're looking for accommodation for a stay away, a guest house or a bed and breakfast in Northumberland that offers excellent value for money, a more laid back approach than a hotel and more service than simply self-catering, look no further than The Bamburgh Castle Inn. With an established reputation for good, home-cooked pub food and serving up a proper pint of Northumberland's finest, The Bamburgh Castle Inn is popular with visitors and locals alike. Don't miss our legendary Sunday Carvery complete with towering Yorkshire Puddings - you won't be disappointed.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The rooms were well equipped and clean, the bed was very comfortable too. The staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and the food was delicious. It also has great views from the reataurant and garden. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was because the service was quite slow at the bar and you could hear the pub below in the rooms however the pub closes at 11 so it wasn't like it kept us awake.

Stayed for a weekend, we were given a warm welcome and found all the staff to be cheery and helpful. Nice bright room , enough space for weekend. The room had a slopping roof at side of bed that I hit my head off a few times . We had one meal in the restaurant and two breakfasts , food was tasty and we enjoyed all we ate. Would definitely recommend, but one star off for room , we paid for seaview but view was blocked by the scaffolding which was round the whole hotel .

Wonderful hotel : food and accommodation alike. A warm welcome awaited us. The food, accommodation and general ambience of the hotel was superb. Views over the north sea did not disappoint. Would highly recommend the Inn Collection Group and The Bamburgh Castle Inn.

Wonderful location overlooking the harbour. Most friendly and welcoming staff. Free parking although slightly limited space. Food generally good although breakfast buffet can be a little cool. Good choices at the bar, including handpulled local beers

Wednesday 9th November. 4 x deluxe hot chocolate drinks £5+ per drink. Plus tip. Total over £20 pounds. First of all had to carry 4 drinks to table are selves, and drinks missing the marsh mallows. We did ask about it. Pub not busy 6 or so people only. Just glad we did not get food or maybe we would have had to serve are selves too.
