Staff helpful and very friendly. Location excellent for birdwatching, menu very good plenty of choice, excellent choice of drinks. Great area for sightseeing such as Osprey nest at Keilder water, very historic area. Would definitely return.

Another perfect break at the Pheasant – wonderful friendly staff, really, really comfortable beds and mouth-watering food, all skilfully supervised by Bailey, the pub cat. Oh – I almost forgot - the beer’s rather good as well ….
