A friend and I spent three nights at Millyard House. The b&b is situated in a quiet location, the rooms are large and spotlessly clean. The breakfast menu is very varied, food is of a high standard and nicely presented. Bob and Ginny are ideal hosts and make every effort to ensure that guests have a comfortable stay.

Just enjoyed a wonderful stay with Bob and Ginny at their beautiful B & B. Such welcoming and friendly hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful, clean and comfortable en suite room which was quiet and well equipped. We had the best night sleep so far on our walk to Holy Island. The breakfast was restaurant quality - I had the bubble and squeak cakes with poached eggs and onion jam and would come back purely to have this again! Thanks Bob and Ginny for welcoming us in these difficult times.

A wonderful stay. Hosts, Ginny and Bob were superb. Nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was wonderful, accommodation excellent and numerous little thoughtful extra touches that showed they had made an art form of hosting. Ian and Polly

We've been staying at Millyard house for about 10 years now. It is only my second time there, but it's a great place with fantastic hosts. The steak pie in the evening was first class, and very plentiful, and the breakfast the following morning is always great.

We recently completed the St Cuthberts over five days in very wet conditions and can strongly recommend a stop over at Millyard House. Ginny and Bob were excellent hosts. Bob was concerned about the weather during our walk and sent a text offering help if we needed it. On arrival in very wet walking gear our hosts happily offered to give our kit a wash and dry and welcomed us with tea and scones. The complimentary chocolates and sherry in the room was just one of many thoughtful touches. The breakfast was outstanding as was the choice on offer. We were a party of four and all agreed that Millyard House was by far the best stopover along the way. Many thanks to Ginny and Bob
