We can highly recommend staying here. Sheila and Peter Dodds are marvelous hosts. We had a wonderful stay here and used it as a base to visit Bamburgh and the Farne islands. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Farm is situated in a small quiet hamlet in a beautiful area of Northumberland. The large farmhouse and well tended grounds are most comfortable, with outside seating and inside antique furnished excellence. My wife and I were made very welcome and the attention to our care and needs was first class. Certainly with the breakfast we did not need...

Came to Northumberland with friends who once lived in this beautiful farmhouse. Staying here was a real treat, so quiet, and surrounding hills and fields are stunningly beautiful, a real tonic. The accomadation is excellent with plenty room and good ensuite facilities. The breakfasts are superb and really good coffee. A great place to spend a few days to unwind.

We stayed five nights while walking the St Cuthbert's Way. It is ideally located with stunning views across the Northumberland countryside. The spacious accommodation and the breakfasts are excellent and warrant the property's five star status. Our stay was made all the more pleasant by lovely hosts who were extremely helpful in giving advice.

We arrived in the afternoon to be greeted by one of our hosts, shown to our room and offered tea and biscuits in the sitting room. The B&B itself is fantastic throughout - lovely, spacious rooms, great views of the Northumberland countryside, peaceful surroundings and excellent hospitality from the hosts - extremely attentive with a great breakfast! Will certainly visit...

My partner and I stayed at The East Horton Farmhouse over the Easter bank holiday weekend for one night, we wished we'd stayed longer! This is truly a great find. On arrival we were met with a hot pot of tea and biscuits, just what we needed after our walk in Bamborough that day. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated...

If you want to visit the Northumberland coast and the magnificent scenery that it has to offer, then you need a base and we have found the perfect such location. I booked the East Horton farmhouse for a valentine's treat for my wife, travelling down from Edinburgh to stay overnight. I had read the reviews and couldn't fault it and...

Content . . . Is the perfect word for me to use that describes the feeling towards our time spent at East Horton Farmhouse in Northumberland. We spent 7 nights in a magnificent Georgian house which excels in grandeur both inside and out. This elevated position provides you with absolutely stunning views of a beautiful, undulating, colour filled, patch work...

A very comfortable place to stay with helpful and friendly hosts. The countryside in the surrounding area is stunning. The breakfasts set you up for the day, we will return when we are next in the area.

We booked here based on previous reviews here and endorse all positive comments made. Beautiful location, large airy rooms, good cooking. The adverse comments from the 'walkers' are unfortunate. Peter and Sheila are not an in-your-face, 'have a nice day' type of couple but are quiet and attentive hosts which many other places would do to emulate. We shall return!
