We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The owners, Patrick and Paulette were lovely welcoming and hospitable hosts that obviously take a lot of pride in providing a AAA quality service in the beautiful old building. The Attention to detail in both the facilities in the room and breakfast was impressive. The breakfast was perfection with only the best ingredients... More

The service was warm and welcoming. After one particularly damp day, our hosts willingly helped us get our soaked boots and clothes dried. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully prepared. The bedroom was warm and tastefully decorated. Towels were changed frequently, and the room was cleaned every day. We wanted for nothing.

Best B&B we have stayed in, very friendly owners, clean comfy room, and superb choice of breakfast, centrally located in wooler, and central for discovering the delights of Northumberland, would recommend this B&B to anyone.

Our one night stay was fantastic. The welcome was great, along with the cuppa and muffin! The Mill had everything you needed for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Another plus breakfast was delicious and tasty.

The rooms are large and well appointed, the breakfasts enormous and delicious and the the welcome - well, after a long day's walk to be served tea and home made cakes was just wonderful. And the hosts were generous with their local knowledge too.

This was everything we would want from a b&b. Very welcome tea and cake on arrival. Cosy and comfortable. Ďelicious breakfast. Hosts warm and friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Packed lunch and flask of coffee with homemade cake was available for minimum cost. Everything was first class

We were walking from Kirk Yetholm to Wooler on St Cuthbert's way and we were quite tired when we arrived at the Old Mill where we were met by Patrick. He quickly made us feel at home, he had put our luggage in our room, provided a very welcome pot of tea and cup cakes and made some recommendations for... More

We stopped for only one night on a long drive and were made most welcome. The bedrooms were good, very comfortable beds, good shower room. We were brought a most welcome cup of tea on arrival and then enjoyed an excellent and substantial breakfast to set us on our way - everything fresh, tasty and home made from local ingredients...
