Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My regular stop is always a lovely stop. Reception staff amazing they will if they are able do anything for you. They love dogs and treat them like their own. Always a gravy bone to hand and plenty of loves. Rooms lovely and clean and they try to keep pets downstairs so it's easier to take them out which is a good thing at 3am.

Your relatively new Manager of the Hotel was very nice and understanding of my travel issues. If I had any thoughts about the building it would be to say that it looks a bit tired and faded internally, however the room was clean as was the bedding too.

Good, except for the dreadful lighting in the bedrooms. The only decent light is in the bathroom - do I really want to read my book in there ?! Otherwise clean, functional and always very helpful and friendly staff.

Room was clean and tidy, reception staff were friendly. Only thing it could have done with was some glasses in the room. Other than that it suited us for what we needed. Nice stay and we would definitely come here again.

We had an enjoyable one night stay, although it was tinged with sadness as we were attending a funeral. However, what really impressed me was the fact that although I left a pair of trainers behind they were only too happy to post these back to me and, although I offered to pay, they waived any cost. Thanks, Jenny :-)

I was driving up to Scotland over two evenings, this was a great hotel to stop at overnight and on the way. Very quiet location, but also great for a1(m) Services has some low power chargers so I could let the car charge overnight.

Cheap and cheerful, did the job. Staff were great and Becky was really helpful getting us a taxi, which is a bit of a nightmare around there (no Uber). Rooms were fair for the price so no complaints. Service station next door has an M&S, Costa, Greggs and burger King which is handy. Parking is free for Travelodge customers, just give you reg in at reception.
