Travelodge are ticking a lot of the right boxes in the current climate. Friendly staff, enhanced cleaning in communal areas and in the rooms and open windows which ensure the room is ventilated properly. They appear to have got rid of the slamming doors which used to plague other properties.
This Travelodge appears to have received a refurbishment in the bathroom with new lino floor and tiling and the rooms too have new carpets and beds. Really comfortable and quiet night sleep and bargain at £30.

We stayed here as a convenient spot close to Sherwood Forest. This was only the 2nd night after the hotel reopened after serious flood damage. Everything has been redecorated and we were really pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation. In particular, staff members Emma and Alison couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and are obviously proud of their hotel. Usually, Travelodge is something of a budget choice but this property exceeded expectations. Thank you

We stayed for 2 nights while in Worksop for a family celebration. Our room was basic but large, clean & comfortable, with a good sized bathroom. The over bath shower was great. We had a couple of minor issues on arrival, not enough towels & the soap dispenser in the bathroom not working properly, but these were both dealt with straight away by the really friendly, pleasant girl on reception. There was a Starbucks & Subway next door & a pub a few minutes walk across the road. The price we paid was very reasonable so for a basic, no frills, clean comfortable room we couldn’t fault it.

Booked this hotel at short notice and normally stay usually in premier Inns but was fully booked on the date. this is Decent alternative hotel, in good location off the A57,and found the hotel easily. Arrived about 20 minutes before check in time and the lovely lady on the desk checked me in early . Went up to my room which was upstairs at the back of the hotel with a view of some trees which i was glad about as reading previous reviews stating rooms at the front of the hotel got a lot of road noise, as allways I like to inspect my room for cleanliness and that everything in the room is functioning correctly. And I did find a few things I was disappointed with firstly batteries in the TV remote were flat this was sorted with a visit to reception and they provided some new ones, on the actual duvet on the top corner there was looked like a blood stain this was not on the sheet but the actual duvet. Also the hand soap dispenser and the body wash dispenser were not working both were full but nothing came out when pressed. Was going to report the other issues with soap dispenser and body wash dispenser and duvet on check out but it wasn't manned. Over all a decent alternative to the premier Inn but personally will still stick premier inns in future.

Stayed at the travelodge at Worksop Uk to visit family in the area booked for 2 nights ,on arrival our room was allotted to us ground floor which we thought was a bonus . Entering the room there was a strong smell of cleaning detergent and faeces smell the carpet had a stain which was still wet. The smell got worse ,we went to reception who told us that there was no cleaners Available til the morning and no spare rooms to exchange us into . She gave me 2 towels to put over the carpet. We looked for another hotel in the area and everywhere was fully booked. So we had to stay at the travelodge after a five hour journey with a 88 year old we couldn’t come home again. The next day spoke to the manageress who told me she had been aware of the accident of feaces and had tried to clean it but with limited cleaning products the room should of come off line as available and said she get a proper cleaning company in and refund us our night so off we went for the day to visit the family came back later in the evening to a fresh clean room how it should of been . Once again a happy consumer, we always use travelodge for visits to family in different areas never had any problems as we checked out manageress took all my details and said the refund of room would be sent to me within a week .4 weeks later no refund no joy from customer services who now are ignoring my emails after saying they need more information .

My son booked us in with our dog when we came over to help with his house move. We were slightly apprehensive at what a pet friendly room would be like but what a fantastic surprise, it was immaculately clean and fresh smelling, the room was well equipped and decorated/furnished to a high standard.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and there is a Starbucks and Subway next to it if required.
There is a grassed area to the side which is ideal for nipping out with the dog if you need to.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again- thank you

Location in a good area to access Worksop and all major roads. Rooms need more soundproofing, doors need slow closures, softer pillows carpets need replacing and WiFi updating. Customer service could be better by the staff checking if bins need emptying and milks etc need replenishing.

The hotel was clean with a very pleasant staff that presented a welcoming environment. My room had a comfy bed that felt like sleeping on marshmallows with clean fresh towels. The hotel was close to the M1 starbucks and subway which is always a bonus and a on site and 24hr petrol station made it easy to prepare for the trip back home.

A dog friendly, good priced, clean large room and bathroom. The hotel had good COVID safety measures on their grounds and in the room. The decor was fresh and temperature in the room was perfect despite extremely warm weather. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and were happy to provide additional teabags etc when asked. We would definitely stay again.

The receptionist is usually elsewhere on the site, but usually comes once you ring the bell. Once I had to phone the hotel number to say we were at the checkout, but that was a one-off. Why not ring the hotel earlier that day to say what time you expect to arrive, and they can arrange to be there? The staff are pretty helpful, but of course the budget constraints make their job difficult; you have to ask fo everything from enough towels, hair drier, pillows etc. Hope you have a good stay.....
