My boyfriend and i stayed there two weeks ago and we had a lovely time. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is nice and peaceful. I cant believe how cheap it is too, and includes breakfast! This place is a great find and i'll happily go there again. Our room was wonderfully prepared and we didnt lack for anything. I'd...

My daughter and I stayed the White House on the Saturday prior to the air and country show at Abingdon. Judy and David were very welcoming, and we both really enjoyed our stay which unfortunately was for only one evening. We both had a restful night and slept soundly in our comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety....

A beautiful, charming place to stay, a lovely couple who run it, full of character, spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed and lovely full English breakfast. Was made to feel extremely welcome, I didn't want to leave.

We have used Judy and David's great place now for several visits over a several years and they have always been brilliant - the only problem has occasionally been getting a booking because they are (rightly) so popular! Warm welcome, great breakfasts, comfortable rooms and plenty of local knowledge / advice. Wi-fi helps for homework, too. Very highly recommended indeed.

We booked a double en suite room at The White House for a short weekend break. Even a four hours delay due to a car breakdown on arrival wasn't a problem. Judy welcomed us really friendly and warmhearted and showed us around their beautiful house. The room was absolutely lovely, georgous decoration, the stressfree and quiet retreat we were looking...

We booked three rooms at The White House for family members for our Daughter’s wedding. David and Judy were most welcoming and we had unlimited access to our rooms and the gardens. It was wonderful. We sat in the garden making wedding decorations – in other places we would have been confined to our rooms. Breakfast was when we wanted...

Just one night here while visiting Oxford. Lovely house in a quiet area. Reasonable rate for double room (with 2 shared bathrooms), which was large and comfortable. Hosts very obliging. Fresh milk for tea very much appreciated, though a mini fridge or small flask would be good, as it didn't last the night (but encouraged to refill from kitchen, which...

Stayed here over night, the bedroom in the eaves, charming room in this 500 year old cottage. The owners are very friendly and made me feel very welcome. The only thing that spoiled it for me was there was no shower in the Ensuite just a bath, they could do with updating the bathroom. On the whole a very good...

Spent the night here before attending an early morning meeting and was impressed by the accommodation and service. The hosts were lovely, talking about the property and business, The property was beautiful, set back a little from the road(despite directions I missed it on the first pass!), lovely period styling, with wooden beams, you enter through the kitchen and dining...
