Stayed here a few times now, booking is never strait forward always some difficulty. The hotel and rooms are lovely but the staff aren't great except Amber who is great. Just had another rubbish booking experience so decided not to stay here again, which is a shame. I hope the management can get their act together soon. I work at...

What a shame that this lovely venue has such awful rooms. They are dated, dingy and damp. Bathrooms are old and worn out, curtains and carpets are drab and the beds are in need of urgent replacement. The whole block reminds me of a bad old peoples home which was hot and smelly and not a place I wished to...

A lovely place to stay, the staff are excellent and proficient. Just spent 2 nights on bussiness and will certainly stay here again. The grounds and the local area are picturesque, a must see place. Plenty of walks and great pubs 5 mins from the hotel, and the river Themes on the door step..

Stayed for one night. Room is basic and a small double bed for the two of us to sleep in. Major issue was the heat. The top floor of the new building was like a sauna. The windows hardly open....even once you manage to get the child restrictive locks off. I asked for a fan to be told lots of...

Having spent two nights in the stable blocks I still cannot forget this awful experience, en suite facilities were disgusting other colleagues in adjacent rooms were plagued with wood lice and various other bugs and beetles, shower not working, door not opening which led to my colleague having to pass the key through her window for me to let her...

Just back from a conference held here. Food excellent, room basic but clean and all staff helpful and accommodating. The area is charming, with a council run outside swimming only a short walk through the Abbey gardens and a stunning view over the Thames. Lovely walk on a summers morning post splendid breakfast to weir and lock.

That is a very nice place, calm and relaxing. The breakfast is perfect for those like me who enjoy very much Full Breakfasts. The lunch and dinner were also good and well prepared. However, the water pressure of the shower was quite low. Among my colleagues, one could not get warm water and the other had to take a bath...

Stayed in the 'new' block and although the room was very basic it was clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a tv and there was a tea & coffee tray. Our room overlooked the river and it was very pleasant. The location is superb, just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and the grounds of the...

This hotel is in a great position looking over the river Thames and with easy access to the town. We stayed there whilst on a golfing holiday for three days on a bed and breakfast basis with an excellent breakfast every day served in the main building. The bedrooms were basic but that's all we needed and at a good...

My wife and I got married here and had our wedding breakfast and evening reception here. It could not have been a better day or better venue for us. It is a stunning venue, it is so pretty with original features inside and out from tall celings to a grand staircase, to old stable grounds and stone arches. And the...
