We were greeted in a very warm and welcoming manner and put at ease straight away. Loved our room very pretty, very clean, beautiful bed linen. Ideally suited for all amenities in a very attractive part of the town. The only downfall was not having any breakfast at the weekend, but just up the road was a little cafe which... More

Mr and mrs Howard are very friendly and helpful, willing to go that extra mile to help. In addition to a wonderful B and B they offered to help look after some luggage for my son and even they were due to be away they arranged for someone to be available to let me access my sons suitcase. It is... More

The welcome was warm and friendly, the room quaint, the bed and linen were excellent but there was no breakfast! The first B&B I've stayed in that really is (at weekends) only a B! There was a small kitchen where coffee and tea could be made and a fridge to put your own mild in. It might have been nice... More

I stayed several times at Susie's because you feel at home. At home but in a beautiful 18-th century house with all the charm and character you can imagine, with matching furniture, a lovely garden and with Susie always ready to help you and to make your stay the best as possible. There is the possibility to use the kitchen,... More

We stayed in the height of Summer in the large double en suite, photos are on the website. We had great communication with Susie prior to our visit but when we arrived despite advising our arrival time we were left waiting for about 45 minutes outside as nobody answered the door or landline. Luckily there was a lovely pub at... More

We have just had a pleasant one-night stay with Susie Howard and her husband in their charming 18th century home in the historic area of Abingdon. We received a friendly welcome and, after removing our shoes, were shown to our room on the first floor, which overlooked a delightful walled garden. The bedroom was wood panelled with uneven floors and... More

Stayed one night in a small single room in June 2013 so I could attend a folk night at the pub in the same street. Location couldn't be faulted and if you timed your arrival and departure correctly at the local car park you could avoid all fees ! (Ask me for details.) The room was simply decorated and the... This is a truly unique and eccentric B&B run by a very charming couple in a Georgian House and includes a 16th Century house next door. We had a ground floor room in the older building, with beams on the walls and the ceiling, wonderful old furniture and the most comfortable huge pillows i have ever seen. We had a... More

I had to stay in Abingdon for 2 weeks for work. I was very very nervous about being in a town that I didnt really know on my own. I came across Susie's website and I got in touch.
