Booked this hotel to help break up a long journey. Got checked in quickly by a friendly member of staff. All staff seemed efficient and friendly. The hotel is big (for a Travelodge) but all the rooms are well signposted. Room was fine, clean and had everything we expected from a Travelodge. Room was a little cold when we first got in but turned up the heater and it was warm quickly. The communal areas could do with an update as carpets needs replaced/deep cleaned and walls repainted. Had no issues with noise. The services attached to the hotel are more expensive then normal shops but what do you expect from motorway services. Got 20% of at most places in the services but not KFC and another one but can’t remember what one. Check out was quick and easy. Only slight issue was when leaving the laundry lorry was loading and unloading blocking in our car (was in a disabled bay, have a blue badge) however it just meant we had breakfast before leaving rather than stopping 50miles down the road.

We stayed here on our way back from a fortnight on Isle of Wight. With it being based in a service station we didn't expect too much. Boy were we wrong. Outstanding staff who made us feel really welcome and there was super evidence of complying with C19 rules.
We were asked if we would like an upstairs or down stairs room, which was very welcome, as I had injured my back and would struggle with the stairs in the morning. We opted for a downstairs room and our room was very fresh and very clean. It looks as if it had been recently decorated and the bathroom renovated.
We expected it to be noisy but it was really quiet and the curtains were excellent at keeping light out.
The charming man on reception advised us that we would receive discount on food at the service station and we enjoyed 20% discount on our evening food and breakfast.
The bed was really comfortable and the linen was good quality. We both enjoyed 10 hours sleep.!! Great that check out isn't until midday too.
Really recommend this hotel and will be booking again next time we are in the area.

Due to having to travel for work each week I have been staying in the Bicester Travelodge on the M40 services.
I am always greeted with a smiley face and given a nice clean room. Travelodge has really impressed me with the extra clean down routine the reception team has to do to keep everywhere safe. Jane on reception always makes me feel welcome and asked me where I would like to stay.
I would say this is one hotel I will always be coming back to.

Clean room bed and bathroom. Simple and well priced. All I needed since anything more than a simple place to sleep would have been wasteful. Shower was well pressured although knobs needed some attention

Booked at short notice to avoid traveling overnight in a storm. Quick booking on the app. Fast checkin (10pm) pleasant and helpful receptionist who registered my car for free parking. Clean warm room with lots of space and a comfy double bed, coffee making in room. Plenty of clean towels, fresh bedding. TV worked ok. My room was ground floor facing the carpark. Not disturbed at all, good curtains blocked light from headlights and sound insolation excellent. Plenty of hot water and good shower. Easy checkout. Cost £28 ( didn’t order the breakfast as this hotel is on a motorway service area with a range of coffee outlets and food available.) excellent value no complaints. Wouldn’t want to holiday there but would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to break up a road trip or looking for an overnight stop on a business trip. Plenty of room to do a bit of paper work and good power point access for computers etc. no complaints, a good no frills stopover if you just need somewhere to Lay your head for the night don’t need bells and whistles at your hotel.

The check in was very bad and covid insecure. Only 1 member of staff on on a busy Sat night so 8 of us kept waiting while they dealt with another matter in the building. More staff needed

The rooms are good and clean and standard Travelodge.

Being next to a service station meant readily accessible food and there is a cheaper Mac Donald's 2 mins down the road

Arrived a bit earlier than the official check in time but it wasn't a problem. Jane greeted us with a smile and a friendly greeting. She checked us in and couldn't have been more helpful. From telling us about the 20% discount at some of the food outlets in the service station by showing our key to telling us about a local pub with a good restaurant.

She also asked for our car registration number so that we had free parking.

After we had dropped our stuff off in our room, I returned to reception to ask for some more towels. Nikki was there and gave the towels to me. She also asked if there was anything else that we needed - coffee, milk, sugar etc. Like Jane, she was very friendly.

We stayed for two nights and each time we saw Jane and Nikki, they always greeted you with a smile and a cheery word.

The room was very clean (my Dettol wipes stayed in my case!). There was plenty of room for the two of us. Importantly, there were two chairs in the room, so we could both sit comfortably.

The TV had the usual terrestrial channels, reception was good. We had a room opposite the car park, on the ground floor. There was no noise heard from outside due to the good soundproofing. Ditto with the light, the curtains blocked everything out.

Jane and Nikki are a real asset to the company. They made us feel so welcome. They were both so friendly and genuinely welcomed you to the hotel.
Well done and thank you, ladies.

The staff are HAPPY TO HELP where needed, clean rooms, always smells clean, free bottled water was on offer during the recent hot spell. I have stayed here a few times recently & everytime I have stayed, it has been a very positive experience. 1 lady on reception (Michelle) I think her name is, what a star. All the staff have made my stay a very pleasant one. The only down side, is the condition of the building & grounds. It all needs to have some maintenance done to it, It needs to be tidied up, as when looking out the window, it looks like a jungle both front & rear. Thank you to ALL the staff who work here.
