Was good enough for a short two night stay in Faringdon. Bit further away from the town than expecting but that's my own fault. Worth noting that the postcode they give on the confirmation doesn't take you to the correct address just put in "Aldi or waitrose Faringdon" instead. Was checked in by Karen who was nice and friendly, disappointingly the cafe/breakfast was not available due to staffing so they refunded breakfast costs. Working in hospitality myself, I recognise the difficulties the industry is experiencing but would have been nice to have been told this in advance by a quick phone call. Room was nice enough and had everything needed and felt nice and new. Well sound proofed and couldn't hear the main road outside out window. AC unit had two annoying little led lights on it which lit up the room at night and the smoke alarm flashed every 10 seconds. Hand soap dispenser and shower gel dispenser ran out after one night. The "top up my room" hanger consisted of two towels being left on the floor outside the door and no refill of the measly offering of two coffee capsules. Good enough for what is was. Think i'll be back to Premier Inn though next time if I'm looking for somewhere cheap to stay. If you are looking for somewhere nice to eat check out The Bell and Las Chicas in Faringdon

This new hotel was exactly what I needed after a long and very cold winters day riding a motorbike around the countryside. The really helpful person on the desk (Daniel) helped me make sure there was somewhere safe to lock the bike. The room (I had a “Super-room”) was basic but clean, spacious and had plenty of hanging space and power sockets. The bed was quite firm but, not hard and the choice of pillows was brilliant.

I had dinner (Pizza & Sticky Toffee Pudding) and a cooked breakfast (all you can eat) and thought the food was good value, tasty and much better than I expected at a Travelodge.

No complaints. Would use again if in the area

Booked to visit family in the area. Nice hotel in a good area with shops/costa next to it. No traffic or external noise wich is always good.Modern rooms with good facilities.
Kept awake until 2am with what can only be described as a stomping elephant above us who also liked to shout/swear and bang/kick doors repeatedly so much that our room was shaking. No idea how staff could not hear it, no phone signal to try and find receptions number and did not feel comfortable leaving children alone in the room to take quite a long walk to reception on my own at that time of night.
Mentioned to staff in the morning who really didn't seem bothered. No staff around to be seen most of our stay and the one i did see on leaving did not so much as smile in our direction never mind speak.
Check in lady was nice and friendly though according to my family member who went and checked in for me whilst i was travelling and not arriving until late at night.
Hotel was not cleaned the whole weekend stay as the same crisps crushed in to the carpets in the corridors our whole stay along with no bins emptied etc (people had started to leave overflowing bags of rubbish outside their doors in the corridor by the Saturday night).
No teaspoons in the room, no soap in the bathroom dispenser to wash hands with, stain on one of the duvet covers and a large disgusting, crusty, damp stain on the carpet by the bed. Only one small, practically flat pillow per person made me wish i had packed our own.
Rooms do have modern plug sockets with usb ports by the side of the beds though wich is a bonus and an air con/heating system in the room that you can control easily.

Just want to say a great big thank you to all of the staff at Faringdon Travelodge. They are obviously very good at their jobs. The check- in people were extremely helpful with my mother who needs an accessible room and help in an emergency. The breakfast morning people were so welcoming and friendly and not forgetting the cleaning staff who were happy to help. Thank you so much, we look forward to staying there again in the future.

A solo three night stay at the Faringdon Travelodge during one of the hottest weekend's this year. Being only a couple of years old this Travelodge has a bright and fresh look to it. Check in was quick and easy as you'd expect with a pre-booked stay. This location has a bar/restaurant which looked very nice - I didn't make use of the facilities for breakfast as was out at 6.30 in the morning for the duration of my stay which was before service. Likewise, I didn't have an evening meal there either. My room was a lovely cool and welcoming 17 degrees (it was 27+ outside). Bathroom spotless, and the room very clean. Bed was nice and comfy. Air con, that I had running all night was audible but not enough to disturb my sleep. This travelodge is located next to a couple of supermarkets and a budget homewares shop. So quick and easy to get something to take back to your room, A Coffee shop is nearby too. Handy for those that can't keep away from the overpriced brown liquid. A Petrol Station and Tesco's supermarket are just up the road too. Overall an enjoyable stay was had here.

Checking was smooth sailing was met with a happy friendly face, I asked for a hairdryer it was brand-new so happy days. Room was very basic but that was OK as it was only for 1 night, coffee making in the room was dreadfull the coffee in the packets had turned a tindgy blue colour and tasted dreadful..... then came breakfast, well to say it was inedible was an understatement, the croissants were rock hard and deflated they were nowhere near fresh at all, the glasses for Juice were stinking dirty how they even brought them out like that was very bad, there was no bacon and when asked the women shrugged her shoulders and walked off and still never brought any out, the sausages were cremated and disgusting, the what I think was scrambled egg was shriveled up bits of dried yellow, the hashbrows literally were bending like cardboard and tasted awful, how they can charge £8.99 for that is shocking, when I mentioned this to reception there wasn't a care in the world. This was a 1st time staying in a travelodge and my god it will be the last, premier inn is superior in comparison.

Me and my family visited this hotel last Wednesday. So pleased we did! We wanted something to eat before going out for the day with the family. The breakfast on offer was fantastic. The kids was happy with the cooked breakfast and the selection of cereals on offer. Reasonably priced plus kids eat free we asked the girl in the kitchen if we could have some fresh cooked mushrooms. She told us to take a seat and grab the other bits while we waited. Once cooked she brought them straight out plus brought them to our table to save us getting back up again. Nothing too much trouble for her. Great staff we really enjoyed our breakfast we will be back.

My wife and I have stayed in a number of Travelodge's previously with them being one of the few chains to accept dogs for an overnight stay. We are both in agreement that this is by far the best we have stayed in both in terms of the condition of the rooms and the friendliness of staff. I appreciate that this one is only a couple of months old but everything was immaculately clean and tidy, especially important in these testing times. Check in was very good and quick with Abby being a friendly face after our long journey. The next morning we saw Abby and Pam who both spent time talking to us about our little dog as well as sharing their love for dogs too. This was all while they were busy doing multiple jobs but clearly they wanted to make all their visitors feel welcome. We didn't get a chance to sample the food so couldn't comment on the quality of this but the food areas looked very clean. For the cost alone this is a place that is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and I just wish that every Travelodge was as clean and friendly as this one.

Really excellent Travel Lodge. We haven't stayed at TLs for many years and were wondering how they had fared over the Pandemic, but we needn't have worried, as this was an almost new facility with really excellent and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. On the outward trip we were upgraded to one of the better rooms on the second floor (their suggestion), but we were given a room facing the road and it did disturb our sleep especially in the morning before 7am. On leaving the hotel, we mentioned the road noise and they very helpfully reserved an alternative room for our return visit a week later that didn't face onto the road. This was also an upgraded room without any extra charge. Excellent service and friendliness without any difficulty. The evening meals are rather simple, but well priced and useful for travellers passing through the area. Similarly for the breakfasts, but as good as, if not better than, similar hotel chains. Thoroughly recommended for an overnight stop or touring the area. The local on-site shopping facilities are also very handy.

For a first class say, service and facilities in spotless, air-conditioned rooms, I can certainly recommend this hotel. There was free easy parking and immediate access to the main areas that were the reason for our stay. Cleanest most comfortable stay I have ever had. In

I'm not sure but I would contact them directly and explain the situation. The extra bed is usually a convertible sofa. Family rooms are slightly bigger.
