Several members of our family stayed here as we had were going to a wedding nearby. What a really lovely place! The house is just beautiful, as are the grounds. The owner has thought of everything and the service is wonderful. We were offered coffee/tea and biscuits on arrival. The room we were in was huge, with unusual décor. There...

My brother and myself booked in to this beautiful house for a long weekend to go to a family members 45th birthday party. We were a bit behind schedule and Marianne took the time to message us to let us know that it did not matter what time we arrived and to just have a safe journey getting down there...

We stayed here the night before a funeral and Marianne was an absolute angel. She looked after us almost as though we were family - lending me a hairbrush, and making us more coffee while we got ready. Then, when we were suddenly in a rush to leave and realised we hadn't paid, she said it was fine for us...

Stayed here for the weekend with family as part of wedding party at a nearby venue. The house is old style but in excellent taste with some very interesting and original items of furniture. Marianne is a most excellent host and genuinely wants all of her guests to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her. We stayed...

My husband and I have stayed at Langsmeade House several times during the Towersey Festival weekend. It's a bit off the beaten track, but well worth the visit, as the house is so full of interesting features and the surrounding views are superb. We think it's the best independent B&B ever. Breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. Langsmeade House will...

Our double en-suite room was full of nick-knacks which gave it a bundle of character. Twin electrically adjustable beds, spotlessly clean, everything to hand, including toiletries in the bathroom cabinet! Truly a home from home, welcoming atmosphere. Marianne is absolutely charming, nothing was too much trouble, she kindly booked a local restaurant for us, and the next morning, produced an...

Langsmeade House was built in 1924and Mike Hailwood former world motor cycle legend was actually born here in 1940. The current owner Marianne goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is enjoyable as possible. The rooms are large and beds very comfortable. When we arrived made tea for us served in the conservatory in a beautiful glass teapot...

Stayed 1 night in this delightful B & B. The owner described it as 'Quirky" - it is, but also delivers on all comfort fronts - the rooms are large and delightfully decorated in the style of the house, the beds are extremely comfortable, the linen is divine, full tea & coffee service in the room (including fresh ground coffee)...

I stayed at Langsmeade for fifteen days whilst on a business trip and it was a pleasure to come back to each evening after a long working day. The house and gardens are truly stunning and I was warmly received on my arrival. My room and bathroom were immaculately clean, very spacious and beautifully warm. The little extras in my...
