What a lovely hotel. Very quiet, comfy bed and huge range of food for breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Central location so everything is in walking distance. Very high standard at a very fair price. Would definitely stay again.

The owners of this hotel go out of the way to make you feel welcome and the breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are a little bit dated but very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. My only criticism of our room was that although it was spotlessly clean overall, there were bits of fluff and dust all over the carpet which I think came off the bottom of the hoover when they were cleaning it. Also, the bathroom had a very feint small of urine in it, despite looking spotlessly clean. I would still go back there despite the very tiny faults because it was so friendly and in such a nice location.

We only stayed one night here but it was perfect for what we wanted and excellent value too. The owner was welcoming upon arrival and thought and care had been put into the decor, it was tasteful but homely. They go the extra mile for their guests here providing tea, coffee, hot choc etc in a lovely little back room, with cakes and biscuits also. Yummy! This was all above and beyond as there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room also. The full vegetarian breakfast I had was really good. The parking was a little bit difficult but location was perfect as we were visiting the wychwood brewery for a tour and it was just a couple of minutes walk away.
