We spent four nights here, and were entirely happy with everything. The welcome was warm, the breakfasts excellent, and the room (number 4) was perfect. The Beeches is close to the centre of a very pleasant town, and all its amenities, yet quiet and peaceful, a lovely location. A lot of attention to detail makes this an ideal place to stay - we hope to return!

Spent 5 nights at the Beeches and wished it could have been longer. The entire stay was faultless, with a lovely large room and bathroom , both beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need. Even thought it is just steps from the town, the house is situated so that instead of traffic, you hear only birds. .Steve's green thumb is evident in the wonderful display of flowers that surround the house and garden. Breakfasts were plentiful, cooked to order and best of all...not too early! Di and Steve are wonderful hosts, and go the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of and comfortable. They know the area well, so can suggest places to eat, etc We ate at The Angel several times....a pub owned by Steve and Di..and can recommend highly. Witney itself is a nice size town with lots to do. We did lots of trips on local buses to some of the surrounding villages...Minster Lovell, Burford, Bampton, Bladon and Blenheim. Could have spent another week! The Beeches would definitely be my homebase if I'm ever in Witney again and I'm sure anyone who stays there will feel the same. steve's
