De!ightful bar, super room, great pint and lovely food. Very pleasant staff, who were most accommodating and helpful, and the room was most comfortable. The location is very good; on the eastern fringe of the Cotswolds, just west of Oxford. There are only two minor crticisms, and both are in the spIrit of trying to be constructive: the bathroom could...

Lovely food had by all, large group so we did a pre order. Starters of Camembert and goats cheese were amazing and to die for. Then sub if seared chicken on a bed of pasta was nice but quite bland needs a little more seasoning. All in all nice meal

We only stayed a night, but fell in love with this hotel as soon as we arrived. The Staff were superb, very friendly, and helpful. The bar area had a bit of the Welsh about it, and they certainly like their Rugby. The room was large, plenty of room, the meal we had was lovely too. We don't know the...

All the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and very nice rooms in an accommodation block adjacent to the pub, clean and spacious with good facilities. Had evening meal and the food and service were both of a high standard. Pub owner...

Not the cheapest place around but quality through all departments. Head chef is the owner, speaks for it's self when it comes to all food served from breakfast through lunch to dinner. Rooms excellent, good size, quiet, very clean and set in a garden courtyard environment. Very nice indeed.
