Not a bad campsite, hard standing pitch is just that but a good size, would be worried about number of showers when very busy and a personal bugbear is the complete lack of pitch demarcation on the grass pitches so we wouldn’t be tempted to return during busy periods. That said

second visit to Hardwick. Camped. End of Summer season so site was getting quieter. Sited up the top of one field so long walk to toilets - recommend some portable loos? missed my excellent mark as the ladies loos and showers were sadly untidy over the weekend we were

Second time camping here and really enjoyed it. Slightly uneven pitches but not a problem as long as you notice before pitching the tent. Nice spacious pitches, plenty of toilets and showers, small shop with a few bits and bobs, including a cafe and pub for drinks and snacks.

The Park has great facilities for all the family, great bar and shop. The water sports area is great and caters for all the family. The only concern we had was the cleanliness of the caravan but we will definitely be visiting again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review we very much appreciate this, we are pleased that generally you enjoyed yourself but disappointed that you found the caravan not as clean as it should of been, If you had reported this to reception at the time I am sure we could of resolved these issues, we are pleased that you will be coming back though and we all look forward to seeing you again.

We had a porch awning which we managed to peg out. From memory the hardstanding is hard gravel and it was a little difficult. I expect the grass pitches are free draining and we would probably have one in future. I had booked the hard standing as it had been continuously raining for weeks but was fine when we got there. Hope you enjoy it.

Has anybody stayed there recently? What are the conditions like with all the rain we've had? Thanks

Is the camp site busy at the end of September?
We've been first week in October before now and only a few campers on one field.

I think this relates to the distance your pitch may be sited from a junction box. Best to ring and request pitch next to one possibly?
