Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very welcoming and professional is the best way to talk about our experience. Anna was just lovely, the room was very comfortable, breakfast was really good especially with the garden outlook. Meals are available at night within walking distance and there is a pub over the road (but you need to book in advance for a Sat night).

Stayed here for visit to Blenheim. The rooms were warm , clean and had very comfortable beds.
The owners were very friendly and provided an excellent cooked breakfast.
There is parking off road, a nice pub across the road and walking distance to town centre.
A good value find

I stayed here for 4 nights and this B&B is lovely. You were very warmly welcomed and shown around. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed a very comfortable bed and a flat screen TV & free WiFi. The breakfast was excellent. I only have a light breakfast and there was fresh fruit cereal etc available and a cooked breakfast for those who wanted it. It also has plenty of parking spaces which I found very useful. There is a pub opposite - The Windrush, and I did have an evening meal there. The meal was great and well priced. I used this B&B as a base to sightsee the Cotswolds. I would certainly stay here again if I am in the area. I can thoroughly recommend this B&B.

I booked a few days before I was due to arrive in Witney. I left an email and had a response very quickly, a quick call later and I was booked.

There was plenty of parking available and the room was clean. The owners are very nice and were more than happy to give you information on the local area.

If I'm ever back this way I will be booking again.

I booked the guest house from the Dominican (I was raveling back for 6 days to fulfill best man duties), as I couldn't call I emailed and got answered very quickly. It was very easy to book and I paid on my departure.
I was given the room at the front of the property so I had my own front door :)
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in! I was left to my own devices as I had so much to pack in the 6 days and everyone was on hand when I needed them. They do a brilliant eggs on toast!
I will return again very soon.
Thank you for a brilliant stay!!!

We arrived to a note to call a number, school run time, directions for key easy to follow. Such a happy welcome by our hostess and her daughter. On their return. Our room had a separate entry which was wonderful, our friends could pick us up and bring us back without disturbing other guests. We worked our breakfast time to be after the AM school run so were able to have some great conversations with our hostess. The room was warm and bed comfortable. Water in the shower was hot. Would recommend "The Laurels" to any traveller

This is a quiet and comfortable refuge on the outskirts of Witney. The owners are a lovely couple. I'm sure the town itself attracts many business visitors but I was here to see some of the many nearby tourist attractions. Although it's on the busy Burford Road, a tall hedge and useful car park absorb any traffic noise. My room was spacious and very clean with a good shower room. They provide nice toiletaries and plenty of coffee and teabags. If you need it, the free Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast starts with a fine spread of juice and cereals before an excellent Full English. There's no shortage of tea and toast and a pleasant garden view through the French windows.

The room was comfortable and clean. A little on the small side, but adequate for what we wanted. Breakfast was excellent, and cooked to accommodate us, we were not held rigidly to the scheduled timeframe.

Good off street parking.

I would recommend this as a nice place to stay visiting Witney

This lovely guesthouse is easily found on the main burford road bang opposite the windrush pub. It's a wide road and the laurels have an ample car park out front with a tall hedge so no problem with noise at all!
They are an intelligent , friendly couple who manage that gift of welcome without being over effusive. The rooms are tastefully decorated, in excellent condition with beautiful bed linen and spotless en suites.
Breakfast has wide choice including fresh fruits ( I had raspberries and banana) yogurts, cereals juices and of course Graham cooks a very presentable delicious full English.
The guest rooms are all ground floor and although they don't boast about access I'm sure it's wheelchair accessible. There is a hIghchair too so young families catered for.
Absolute value for money with extras. Will definitely stay with them again as we visit family in the area often.
