And as broken down on the main road and the owner went out to see if he was ok plus towed him in to there site for safety . And he is on is second cup of tea , Thank you for the kindness you have shown to my son . And all the best for the future Mr D Giles

An absolutely brilliant campsite. Really helpful owners, the toilets, showers and pods are all spotlessly clean, great location to explore the Shropshire countryside. The chinaneas are a great edition and a great way to cook. Would also recommend Alan’s Taxi if you’re looking to get a cab back from one of the great local pubs.

We are an ideal base to explore Shropshire and all it has to offer - market towns, castles, miles of walking / cycling, historic buildings, museums, railways, rivers, food and drink just to name a few. The chimeneas have been very popular as a means to BBQ or open fire cook or for warmth / focal point. There is nothing nicer than sitting watching it get dark with a fire and a drink of choice including tea, coffee and hot chocolate and don't forget to toast the marshmallows. Thank you for your kind words re the cleanliness of the glamping pods and facilities - they are much appreciated. Alan is actually one of several taxi firms that are used to dropping off and picking up from the site - we will make sure he sees this review.

Lovely glamping site, friendly owners who leave you to your holiday but are there if you need anything. Plenty of parking, you can either park next to your pod or in the car park. The pods are surrounded by trees and plenty of greenery. The pod is perfect for the price and you are provided with everything you need. The chiminea was fab and kept us all toasty. One niggle was that quite a few of the soap dispensers were empty and we would have to go searching for ones with soap in. We had a great time and would definitely return .

Thank you for your 5 star review and glowing recommendation and confirmation that our pricing structure is right - it is much appreciated. The Standard glamping pods have a 4ft (double) bed, small fridge, heater, kettle, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery inside and he premier glamping pods have a 4ft 6 double bed, slimline fridge, kettle, heater, 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 sets cutlery, 2 mugs, breakfast bar with 2 barstools inside. Both types of glamping pod have a bistro set (metal table and 2 chairs) and large masonry chimenea outside. The chimenea can be used for warmth, a BBQ or open fire cooking and are very popular. We are sorry that you had issues with lack of soap in the bathrooms but it is very hard to predict how many times the liquid soap will last as some people use one squirt others more - if it had been brought to our attention we would have re filled the dispenser (s) immediately - They are generally checked once a day when the big clean carried out but not every time we are the bathrooms (which is several times a day) unless we know one is running low. If an issue is brought to our attention we do our best to sort it out there and then. Thank you again.

I was given this Red Letter day experience for Christmas and what an experience it was! The pods are positioned quite close together but far enough apart to have total privacy. The pods are basic but include everything you need to enjoy your stay, kettle, fridge, crockery and a great wood burner, wood is available from the camp owners if you need to buy it. The site is extremely peaceful, beautifully kept and the showers and toilets are spotlessly clean! There is an area for pot washing which again is spotless. Within that area is displayed lots of information about local facilities, pubs, walks, restaurants, taxis etc. The same information is also in your pod. The site also provides a great recycling area. The hosts have obviously given a great deal of thought to what you may need to enjoy your stay and have tried their upmost to provide it for you. Absolutely loved it, we will definitely return.

Thank you for leaving us such a glowing review it is much appreciated. The standard glamping pods have a 4ft (double) bed, small fridge, heater, kettle, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery inside. The wood burner referred to is the large masonry chimenea outside the pod - there is also a metal table and chairs outside. The chimenea can be used as a focal point, warmth or to BBQ or open fire cook. We are an adults only site so couples have the chance to just sit and relax if they should wish to. We hope to see you again in the future.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future. We are an adults only site and we do ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 11pm out of consideration to other guests and our close neighbours as sound does carry at night. The herbs have proved a big hit again this year especially the spearmint which smells and tastes delicious. We do encourage guests to recycle their glass, tins, plastics, cardboard, paper and food waste and provide containers that can be taken to the glamping pods and pitches to facilitate this and provide larger bins for recycling in 2 specific places on the site. We do work hard to ensure that guests can relax and unwind in a safe and clean environment - the toilets and showers are checked and cleaned several times a day. We have equipped glamping pods and offer touring pitches with or without electric hook up. Tuffins is a large independent supermarket in Craven Arms and sells virtually everything you could want for a stay away plus much more. Laila's café is the café mentioned and they serve good food all day. There are also several other cafes and eateries in Craven Arms so you will never go hungry. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and would thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave us such a glowing review - it is much appreciated.

Visited early August with 3 adult family units and 1 dog on 3 camping pitches with electric hookup. Location and arrival: Great location just outside Craven Arms, a small town with a fantastic shop that has everything you could need from fresh food to camping supplies and everything in-between. A worthwhile visit in itself! On the approach to the site if coming from the north be-aware that your SatNav may try and get you to turn into a small side track with no easy way to turn around and you need to take the 2nd right for the campsite that has a sign, though slightly hidden. Thankfully I had been given a heads up. Pitches: Excellent pitches, no dead grass, largely flat and the slope is very gentle so its easy to pitch, likewise the ground is soft which made pitching a dream and the re-enforced pegs I had just purchase largely redundant. They are well marked out and given the open nature we were able to adapt the tent location to our own requirements. Plenty of parking for all our cars too. Although we had some very heavy rain during our stay and the grass did get a little muddy where the cars were driven the rest of the grass remained clear of flooding or mud. Toilets and washing up: Very clean facilities, I know this is a major bug bear of people so its great that the toilets are kept so clean and tidy. Mops are provided in each bathroom for those that use the showers. When all the shower rooms are in use, there is also an additional unit attached to the main block consisting of just toilet cubicles. My only bug bear of the separate toilets is there is no way to dry your hands. We also found the water pressure to be a little low which affects the supply of hot water, though I appreciate in the middle of the countryside water pressure may not be the best. Washing up facilities were clean and tidy and even had a place to borrow saucepans or other bits that you may have forgotten and a freezer for your ice blocks. Overall site: Its small but at no point did we feel cramped and every night it was nice and quiet too. Dogs are allowed but are cleaned up by the owners. They have a great recycling system in place for those that are environmentally conscious and recycle as much as possible with various bins. Everyone can also take a plastic crate and food waste bin to their pitch to make it even easier. There was some interesting woodland clearing pitches that would be great for smaller tents that don't require electric hookup and want a more intimate natural experience. The site is secured via coded gate, though watch your wing mirrors while getting close to the keypad. Would happily visit this site again if I wanted to visit the area and even in the Glamping pods that look perfect for that weekend exploring where you can arrive on a Friday night and go home on the Sunday.

Thank you for such an in-depth review - it is very much appreciated. We are a small independent site located in the rolling Corvedale Hills - whilst we are surrounded by fields and farms we are only 2 miles from Craven Arms with Tuffins the large independent supermarket mentioned, cafes, essential shops, couple of pubs, The Discovery Centre and Stokesay Castle, mainline station and bus stops. We are midway between the beautiful medieval town of Ludlow and the dramatic scenery of Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd. With regard to our sign on the wide verge unfortunately a local farm vehicle had hit it and broke it's mounting so it was partially swallowed by the hedge for a few days - this has now been rectified. Electric hand dryers were purchased for the seperate toilets but COVID came along as they were due to be fitted and the suggestion that this type of dryer had the potential to be a virus spreader (as is still the case) meant that have not been fitted. We are researching suitable towel dispensers but many are too cumbersome for the compact space. Some things we have no control over like the amount of rain and sogginess of the ground and the water pressure which can vary especially during peak water usage times (not just on site - we have several neighbouring properties on the same same supply). We do encourage guests to re-cycle their glass, tins, plastic, cardboard, paper and food waste and try to make it easy to do so by providing the containers mentioned above. The tent dells in the wooded area of the site are very popular with the smaller tents looking for a non electric pitch. The standard glamping pods have a 4ft double bed and small fridge whereas the premier glamping pods have a 4ft 6 double bed (with space to walk down each side), larger slimline fridge and breakfast bars and bar stools. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and would thank you again for such a great review.

My wife and I (first time glampers) have just returned from a 2 night glamping break at the Greenway Touring & Glamping Park bought for us by our son. I must say what a fantastic experience we had there. I can see why they have won tourism awards. The site itself is very pleasant, well tended grass areas with plenty of space between you and your neighbours, wildfire sanctuaries in the form of untended greenery. The shared facilities (showers, toilets and washing-up area) are spotlessly clean and in very good condition. Recycling bins, shared kitchen items, plenty of to-do brochures and suggestions a plenty. The upgraded Premier glamping pod that we stayed in was roomy (plenty of room to swing a cat) clean and tidy. The bed proved to be very comfy. The layout was spot on. We spent our evenings by the chimenea watching the night sky getting darker and marvelling at the abundance of stars visible thanks to little light pollution. Day time views were almost as impressive. Both Jane and Brian proved to be exceptional hosts providing answers and suggestions as to how best spend our couple of nights in such a beautiful area of England. Overall this was an immensely relaxing break where you are almost forced to "do nothing" which, in these stressful times, is a welcome experience. Although "glamping" is now ticked off of my bucket list I would not hesitate to recommend what Jane and Brian have created to anyone considering this type of break/holiday. Many thanks to the both of you.

Wow - Thank you for such a glowing review / recommendation - it is much appreciated. We are very glad that you enjoyed your first time glamping and enjoyed your stay with us, We tend to keep the grass on the camping / touring field and around the pitches and the glamping pods short and allow other areas to be more natural / wild to provide wild life corridors and encourage the birds and mini beasts. The main difference between the standard and the upgraded premier glamping pod is the 4ft 6 bed (with space to walk down each side) a larger fridge and 2 breakfast bars and a couple of bar stools inside. Both types of glamping pods have a bistro set and large chimenea that can be used as a focal point, fire for warmth, having a BBQ or open fire cooking. The stars can be amazing as we are an area of low light pollution and it is magical sitting round a chimenea with a brew or a drink watching the stars pop out. We do send out some information with the confirmation email and have some literature / leaflets on the local area but are always happy to chat to guests. Thank you again for this fab review.

Stayed one night in a glamping pod. Beautiful location with views of the hills from my pod. Everything was very clean. Inside the pod was compact with a small double bed, a small fridge under a counter top, 3 draws underneath, a bin and a heater. You could secure the door open and there was also a window opposite so a good through flow of air. Small decking outside with bistro set. Advise taking own comfortable camping chairs as bistro set metal and cold and hard but was fine for just one night. Everything was well maintained and very clean: pod, grounds and bathrooms. The bed was really comfortable & I had a good nights sleep. Sat out until dark just listening to the birds and the sheep. Would definitely go back again.

We are glad that you enjoyed your first glamping experience and that you found the bed comfy. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a nice review - it is appreciated. The bistro sets are really designed for sitting and eating around the chimenea and don't get damaged if left out in the rain like the cloth chairs do. Being an adults only site often it is the birds and sheep that make the most noise. The premier glamping pods are slightly larger and have a 4ft6 bed, larger fridge and and breakfast bars and bar stools and more hanging space - otherwise the equipment is the same including the chimenea. We hope to see you again.

Excellent camp site with perfect owners. The toilets, showers and kitchen facilities are spotless (something that’s not always the case in camp sites!), plenty of space between pitches, easy to find and very fair rates. Would happily stay again. There aren’t many taxis in the area so if you do want to head to the local town for a drink it’s best to prebook your journeys.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and would thank you for your complimentary comments - they are appreciated. We do our best to keep the facilities clean as it was one of the things we always looked for when we were staying on sites. We do have generous sized pitches so that guests can pitch their unit in a way that allows them to take advantage of the views. Many of the taxi firms are one man businesses which is why we email the taxi firm numbers out to guests in advance and have them displayed around the site. We always advise that guests check a taxi is available for their return journey when arranging the outward journey or if they are considering walking somewhere and getting a taxi back. Thank you again and hope to see you again in the future.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. It is always nice to see guests returning and interesting to hear their thoughts on how the site has moved on. We do keep a stock of our freezer blocks in the freezer so guests can borrow these for overnight whilst theirs are freezing for use during the day. We do encourage guests recycle their tins, cans, glass, plastic, cardboard, paper and food waste using the containers mentioned to carry items to the recycling area where larger bins are available as we do genuinely care about our environment and truth be told means we don't have such a hard job when checking the individual rubbish bags in the dustbins - not one of our favourite jobs. The trees have grown considerably and provide a haven for a variety of small birds and mini beasts as well give pitches a sense of privacy and shade in some areas of the site. Thnk you for leaving us such a nice review - we do appreciate it
