Stayed 3 nights. Rubbish from previous guests still in room. Bathroom mouldy and looked like it needed a make over. Second night other guests smoking at front doors and drinking very noisy. Car park used for other local businesses.

I would not generally write a review about a national chain unless it was deserved of a bad one, however, on this occasion I felt obliged to write this review. From the moment we arrived on the Friday evening until we left on Sunday morning we were made so very welcome. The staff are head and shoulders above what you would expect. Nothing was too much trouble for them and that appeared to be the same for all guests too. When I am next over this way I will certainly be staying here again. Rooms were spotlessly clean.

We use Premier Inn for most of our UK hotel stays and usually find them excellent. We have stayed in a few places since Covid 19 regulations have been in place and, in that respect, the hotel was very good. On this occasion we arrived very late, for only 1 night, and on using the bathroom in the middle of the night found that the flush did not work. I reported it on check out, the staff were very nice but seemingly unconcerned. I also reported it as feedback which was dismissed by customer service because I hadn’t reported it immediately when I discovered it (which was about 1am). Very disappointed with the customer service, which I have found lacking at the particular location.

Our first post COViD stay over since March. We had concerns about how safe we would be but the minute we arrived we knew we were as safe as anyone could be. Room was excellent. The lady on reception was welcoming and friendly and set the right tone for the hotel. Definitely 5 star treatment.

Visited on our UK roadtrip, after visiting South Wales. Good efficient welcome, room was clean and comfortable. COVID compliance good, with staff in face masks or behind screens. Meal deal was available, so no worries getting food.
