Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

With a small group of friends, we stayed at The Laurels at the end of a walk foreshortened by, and in the difficult context of Covid restrictions. We felt completely safe,The Laurels was well-organised, spotlessly clean, and the breakfast great. Our hosts provided huge support, booking additional accommodation, meals, taxis etc. Thank you.

Excellent welcome, excellent breakfast, good room, good location. Stayed for 4 nights, Monday to Friday. Only downside is that the on street parking is limited and you can't always get near to the premises.

A very pleasant B & B with a fine breakfast offering and a good shower. We were picked up and dropped off again from the Offa’s Dyke path and the owner was friendly and chatty. Comfortable and well presented rooms... thank you.

It is a cosy little place very tide and clean but not boring!
Great breakfast. Perfect location to visit Moreton Hall.
We really felt home and have been taken care even if it was late when we arrived. Unfortunately we spent only one night but next time we will stay longer!

What a fantastic B & B! The welcome, rooms and food were perfect. Howard and Kim were amazing when a health problem delayed my departure. Howard drove me to the medical centre and back and then let me stay in the lounge until I could access further medical help. I couldn’t have had better help and hospitality. I would definitely stay their again and would recommend without hesitation.

We stayed for just one night, but were warmly welcomed, shown our room, had everything explained to us, and left to use the excellent and very clean facilities before a dash out to a party. Very convenient for Oswestry town centre, but very quiet street.
Wonderful breakfast and a very amicable chat with Howard.
Would not hesitate to recommend.

Our recent stay at Laurels was excellent. We were greeted at the front door and they immediately made us feel at home and treated us like longtime friends. The bedroom was very nice, bed comfortable. Breakfast was top notch and they even accommodated our early departure.
