Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I travel down to Bridgwater quite often to visit family and friends and I can honestly say I will only ever stay here from now on! It’s clean, it’s modern, the beds are comfy, the food was great, it’s very family friendly, staff were also super friendly! Special mention to Josie, Charlotte, Reluca and Nana, helpful with anything and everything from the beginning of our stay until we left. Would give more stars if I could!

I have been to this hotel a few times. The hotel is very clean the beds are very comfortable, the food is good too. The staff are very polite and friendly and nothing is r much of a problem when you ask for any information. I would highly recommend staying here. It is close to the motorway and the local town. It’s also dog friendly 😊😊

I stayed at the ibis for a night with my friends and everyone was so welcoming again (not the first time I’ve stayed) . The bar area is amazing and the food was brilliant. You cannot go wrong when booking here always a great experience! the cookies are great on the reception desk too.

Booked a last minute stay at this hotel with two dogs. It was reasonably priced and I was aware from reviews that it was going to charge a £15 surcharge for the dogs prior to arrival. It was a bit unclear how much the overnight car parking was going to be (£9 or £6) but cost £6 when I arrived to check in at the hotel. First time we’ve stayed at a dog friendly hotel and was a bit hesitant after staying over at dog friendly caravans in the past. However, room was clean and we had enjoyed the 1 night stay.

Rooms very comfortable. Good host tray with extras at reception. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast very good choice, except for fresh fruit which lacked choice. The reception area very welcoming with bar and restaurant in same area. Would stay again

Haven't stayed at the hotel, but had a family breakfast in the over the weekend, as family were staying there. General feel, staff were helpful and very welcoming, main areas were clean and toilets were immaculate. Breakfast was lovely, buffet style hot and tasty, but not like some buffets where the food can look like it has been sat there a while. It was all fresh. Chefs were in and out replenishing. Only downside was there was no mushrooms. Will definitely be back.
