Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The travel lodge itself was absolutely spotless with lovely staff but the noise from Burger King underneath was absolutely unbearable , Burger King staff shouting at each other and clattering about with absolutely no consideration for any travel lodge guests, this resulted in me leaving at 5.30am!

We stayed here for two nights, to split our journey between s.wales & taunton. The travelodge was part of the m5 Bridgwater services and our dog was allowed to walk around the services. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. Parking was free for those staying in the travelodge. Our room was 101, next to reception and it was quiet and sound proof. Inside and outside the hotel was the quietest we've experienced for a travelodge. The facilities were: costa, m&s, whsmith, greggs & a cornish pasty shop. And we walked our dog down and around the industrial estate and right over the m5 and into farm field. I'd definitely stay at Bridgwater travelodge again.

Do not stay here! Fire alarms went all night and we had to evacuate, all night. Staff said nothing they could do. Customer services offered a poor partial refund. Customer services way overcharged us more than room was worth because they earn commission. They will rip you off at every corner! Will never stay at a travel lodge again.

Great location with two pubs within walking distance. The hotel is very clean. James booked myself in. Offering some good advice on parking and where to eat out locally. James presented himself in a very professional manner and in my opinion is an asset to Travelodge.

Was a perfect one night stop! Didn’t have very high expectations before checking in for a travelodge above a service station but honestly the staff were lovely and the room spotless and I slept like a log.

Stopped here en route to south Cornwall. Check in was excellent. James was extremely welcoming and even told us he’d given us a room at the end of corridor as it meant less folk walking by to disturb our wee dog! Room was immaculate and bed very comfy. Nice and quiet too. Overall a great stay, especially for the price and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Travelodge are always good. Bridgwater Services lodge was exemplary. Friendly, helpful staff. The fact that it's at a Motorway Service Area has good and bad points. It's above a shop. Parking is easy, access is very easy.

I first stayed at this Travelodge in January because of its convenient location and multiple services availble on-site but what really made my choice to return was the unsurpassed attention and dedication of its staff. Chelle, Angela, Stephanie and Chloe went above and beyond to make this my stay an exceptional experience. I'm now a regular guest at the hotel where I stay every week and I would recommend this branch to anyone who is looking to enjoy some rest with outstanding service delivered by people you can trust.
