Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As always we enjoyed our stay here. Margaret has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Free parking and wifi. And the town is only a 10-15 min walk away. All COVID rules followed too. Look forward to our next visit.

I ended my cycle tour at Winsbere House where I rested and explored Dulverton. Margaret and Richard are welcoming hosts and offer a homely stay. Super comfy private room with on-suite and wonderful breakfasts. My bike was safely locked away in their garage. Dulverton is a short 15 min walk away. I’ll definitely be returning. Just wonderful!!

Dulverton is a charming town in a lovely area made all the better by staying at `Winsbere`. We chose to stay here by the reviews on the internet and we were not disappointed. Margaret and Richard were very welcoming and showed us to our room. The room was light and airy, very well appointed with adequate toiletries and coffee and tea making facilities. The beds were very comfortable, a good nights sleep was had in a very quiet area. In the morning we went down to a super cooked breakfast where there was also a good range of cereals, fruit salad, toast etc. Our bedroom was restocked daily. Margaret and Richard have a great depth of knowledge about the area which enhanced our stay. We would thoroughly recommend staying at `Winsbere` to anyone.

Margaret and Richard looked after us extremely well. They made us feel really at home and I felt like I could have stayed there forever! We'd had a challenging cycle the day before staying at Winsbere House and it made for the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was peaceful, warm, cosy, and welcoming. And, the breakfast was the most delicious in all of Devon, in my view! Highly recommended to all sorts of travellers.

Stayed here for what is now our 4th visit. Just love staying here price is very reasonable and rooms always clean and fresh. Have now stayed in all the rooms. Margaret is always very welcoming and very knowledgeable of the area. Has off street parking and the town is only a ten minute walk away. We will be back again next year for sure 😀

Winsbere house is situated on the edge of the town of Dulverton. The house has a privat parking for about three cars and a garden that separates the house from the quiet road. We had made reservations for bedroom 1 which is situated on the first floor. It has two nice windows. The room has a fair size and has a very good kingsize bed. A small tv and free WiFi with a strong signal. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and a powerful shower. The lady of the house Margareth is lovely, gives you ideas and advise to spend the day and is indeed interested in your well being. Her breakfast is excellent and consist of serials, yoghurt, fresh fruits, juice and if you like a hot porridge. The cooked breakfast is a treat. We planned to stay for two nights but we stayed for six nights after all. We really felt at home in Winsbere House. A B&B to remember.
