A cold November but the warmest of welcomes for us both and Rosie our terrier. Ray and Claire have provided ultimate comfort from the beds, to the bathrooms, warm fires and of course the delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice. Stags Head Farm is a lovely friendly house they have delightfully decorated and Rosie particularly enjoyed the mown grass walks...

Claire and Ray are just the perfect hosts! I stayed here with my two young Golden Retrievers in August and the dogs were allowed in my room, which had wooden floors and a big rug, perfect for the dogs. The room was lovely and spacious, with fresh flowers from the garden. The bed was really comfy! Loved the homemade shortbread...

Top marks go this B & B. The warm welcome on arrival, the excellent facilities, cleanliness and great breakfasts. What is there not to like? We have been using B & B's for many years, and this rates as the best of all.

The restored old farmhouse makes and excellent B&B. The breakfasts are excellent and the hosts, Ray and Claire go out of their way to make you welcome. One room is strictly not en-suite, as the shower room is across the corridor, robes are supplied but it is a minor nuisance. When booking check that you don't gat this room if...

Superb bed and breakfast. Ray and Claire go over and beyond in making you feel welcome and spoilt and yet remain unobtrusive. Stunning rooms and high quality breakfast. Attic rooms reminded me of a scene from Beatrix Potter whilst being roomy with all mod cons.
