We have enjoyed a lovely stay at this lovely touring park. Tonia the warden was friendly and welcoming. She was very helpful suggesting cycle and walking ideas. She was very Covid aware and set and adhered to policies in place to keep the campers safe. There is a little shop on site which was very useful as the. Site is quite remote and the pub opposite was closed. We went by bus to Minehead. The busses are not very frequent but its a scenic route and the drivers are very friendly, chatty and informative. We walked to the next village on a route supplied by the campsite to a tea rooms but unfortunately for us it was on a Sunday and the tearooms was too busy to allow us in. The food looked lovely but maybe Sunday is not a good day to go. The facilities were spotless and even though only one toilet and shower were available at any one time we had no problem accessing them during our stay. We will definitely return soon.

We loved our time on this quiet, spacious and well maintained site. The clear instructions on the website made it easy to find. The owner was very welcoming and helpful on arrival and throughout our stay, and there were very good sized pitches to choose from with either the river or the mill stream behind.

The staff worked hard to keep everything clean during this Covid-19 period and it was clear that the site was taking care of everyone's safety.

We enjoyed the short stroll to the beautiful weir at one end of the park, and at the other we used the very well stocked shop- we were very impressed with the local cider that was sold!

There are many local attractions open - we visited the National Trust properties at Dunster and Knightshayes. Lynton and Lynmouth are within easy reach, and also enjoyed an afternoon at Porlock Weir.

Overall we had a fantastic stay here and we'll be sure to return.

We have just come back after a week staying at Ex valley camping and we have to say it is one of the best sites we have been to . The facilities are amazing with the best showers ever . Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly want with washing machine ,tumble drier , hair dryer and even an iron. It is just off the road but it is surrounded by a thick hedge and we really didn't notice any traffic passing through . It's a belter of a site being surrounded by wildlife with all the comforts of home . We loved watching and hearing the pheasants on the other side of the river and spent hours watching the kingfishers going up and down the river . The dog run area is just the best we have seen anywhere with plenty of benches to sit on while the dogs play around off the lead . Amazing guys well done . We are so glad we found this gem of a place and can't wait to come back and relax next year .

Stayed here for one night. The place was fantastic. Clean shower blocks etc, great Covid awarness with one way system and electric hook ups being disinfected while we were there. Warm welcome from reception. Great little shop that sells anything you'd need as well as cream teas. Pitches we're well spaced and level enough. Only gripe would be the amount of dogs there. Peaceful enough during the day apart from the odd dog barking. Very peaceful at night. Also no kids due to the fact of the campsite being surrounded by water, which is a bonus in my book.

Fantastic week at this beautiful, adults only, site set in the Exe Valley and on the edge of Exmoor. Tonia and her team go out of their way to make the stay special. The park is beautifully kept, showers toilet and laundry are cleaned regularly and are spotless and the on site shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. 10/10.

Room Tip: Don’t follow sat nav if you’re in a caravan. The site is just off the A396.

- [ ] We have just spent a lovely 4 nights away at Exe Valley. Upon our arrival we were met by Tonia the owner. Whilst chatting about which pitch we would prefer we enjoyed a welcome free coffee. We chose pitch 28 (a couple of pitches in from the entrance on the river side). Nice and flat with more than enough room for our caravan/awning and car and pegging our 2 dogs out still without being anywhere near our neighbours. The facilities are spotless and cleaned regularly with everything from toilets/showers/washing/drying/sinks etc. The reception also has a very well equipped shop selling all the basic foods and more. They also have a variety of camping accessories to suit most needs. The site was busy but you still have that feeling of being far from your neighbours due to the very generous pitch sizes. At the far end of the park is the best dog run you will find. It is bordered by the Mill Stream on one side and the River Exe on the other, our 2 dogs were in their element. There is also a dog wash stand should they get muddy paws on your walks. I did read a previous review saying the owners dog was barking a lot and left unattended. Considering our pitch was directly opposite the owners accommodation we did not hear “Alfie” once and our 2 dogs loved playing with him in the dog run. As dog lovers ourselves I certainly wouldn’t say Alfie was left unattended for any length of time. We can’t wait to come back again to this lovely site which is a credit to Tonia and her team.

The most immaculate, prettiest site we have visited, on the River Ex , the house had a working water mill with daffodil edged stream, big off lead dog walk to the weir, wooden bridge over the stream to the best hottest power showers. Fantastic hosts always smiley & friendly, they provided lots of local information, beautiful circular walks, great onsite shop.
Local pub The Badgers Holt only a few 100 yards away had the best homemade food. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

We stayed for 3 nights , the weather wasn't on our side but the site was fantastic , the showers were very clean, and hot! As were all the on site facilities, The wifi was very good so having the rain most he weekend we was still able to watch some Netflix! Beautiful spot in the valley, The Lady in the shop was always smiling and very helpful , they sold some tasty cream tea which we had on our last night . Its worth a stay and was very well priced. Will be back again next year!

Tonia and her staff could not have done more to make our stay happy and relaxed. The site had been made Covid compliant without compromising the quality of the facilities and the beauty of the site. The staff made sure that the common areas were kept very clean and tidy and were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Information was freely available and up to date. The site shop is very well stocked and reasonably priced. Lovely people, thank you all for a great week, you even tweaked the weather.
Our stay was as close to perfect as you can get, a great sense of space and peace and quiet in a beautiful setting.
Couldn't say the same about the "Badger's Holt" pub but you cant have everything! And there are plenty of other quality places to eat and drink within easy reach.
Book a stay, you wont be disappointed.

Our second visit to Exe Valley Caravan Site, another success. This site is now our favourite due to it's cleanliness, great facilities, wonderful owners and staff, beautiful surrounding and absolute peace and tranquility! The site shop has everything you could want/need at great prices, dogs are well catered for with doggy ice creams and a brilliant dog washing station. The pitches are spacious and one side you're pitched alongside the river Exe, the other by the mill stream. Tonia and her team are wonderful and go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect. Have recommended to friends who have been equally as happy as we are and we will return.

Not too sure. But I think there’s about 600 yards of free fly fishing available. I don’t think you’d want a long rod as the trees come right down to the edge of the river bank.
