The George is in the middle of the town, in Frome Market Place with a frequent bus service to and from Bath leaving almost outside the front door. The room we had was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful....More

Hi. Sorry about delay, just picked up your question. Yes the George is in a very central location, in fact the George hotel is one of the local pubs itself, there are lots of other pubs and resturant’s very nearby, some do music and quizzes, nice chinese up the hill opposite. They have also got a couple of ‘tap rooms’ which have a selection of craft ales, some of the shops are pretty quirky as well. Right outside hotel is main bus routes to Bath. Car park is a challenge to find and navigate, go up beside hotel turn right in front of cinema, car park is literally under cinema. If you have a large vehicle it might be difficult, standard car no problem with care.
