Spent a Sunday night here recently in a lovely spacious room with friendly and helpful staff. The evening meal was excellent quality and the mussels were first rate. So easy to overlook and a nice sauce. The pork was nicely seasoned and soft.

Hello David thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Hotel, I am pleased that your welcome and your nights stay was as should be expected. But it concerns me that your meal in the evening was not to your liking. May I take this opportunity to say that I can guarantee that all food during the evening apart from the mince pies was freshly made on the day, and nothing was from a previous occasion or bought in on mass. We pride ourselves on the fact that our food is homemade. I can understand that you did not want to appear rude in front of your host on the evening, but if only you had spoken to a member of staff very quietly on the night to discuss your concerns. It goes without saying that I apologise that you felt disappointed on the night.
