After a long day we called into The Culbone quite late and were conscious that we may have missed dinner. Josh and his staff were very accommodating and showed us to a table. Food was delicious, great choice for both starter and main, together with good beer and wine choices. Atmosphere within the restaurant was relaxed and friendly which is...

We rang and booked about a week before for my 50th birthday meal. We asked about the free taxi from and to porlock as per the website advert. The lady confirmed this would be arranged for our party of six. All good and looking forward to our visit. On arrival in porlock our hotel asked us to contact the culbone...

Excellent location, great room, brilliant bar and restaurant. Amazing view of the stars on a clear night. Easy to travel to other interesting locations on Exmoor and surrounds. Great wine selection. Attentive but unobtrusive service.

This Hotel is in the middle of Exmoor. Small but nice rooms. The restuarant is very good with a lot of unsual meals. A car is necessary as it is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by Exmoor. Plenty of parking.

Our room( the downstairs room with the patio doors) wasn't quite as in the photos and was a little tired with obvious areas of water...

My family have been using The Culbone when it was just a Pub, since the late 1970's as we always make regular trips to Lynmouth. Although greatly changed of late, its definitely a change for the better. For the last 4 or so years, The Culbone has been on our 'must visit' list while down that way and we visited...

I stayed over the Easter weekend with my canine companion in Room 3 with far reaching views over wild Exmoor. We were very warmly welcomed and were delighted to find such super amenities - the room was warm and very pleasant and, as a dog owner, it was such a bonus to be able to come and go as required...
