Nice hotel in a beautiful setting lovely staff but in need of updating. It is very old England but the decor is very tired. Ideal if you want to get away from everything as the wifi is appalling, you basically have to stand in the corner of the bar to get connected & even then its unbearably slow. It literally...

Attended this venue with my wife for a three night B&B short Secret Escapes break. The hotel itself was steeped in history, being built around a Tudor house. The imposing Georgian facade led in to a very pleasant country style hotel. The Receptionist(s), Manager and other Staff very very welcoming. Our room was on the top floor and designed over...

When we parked our car on the gravel outside this interesting Georgian Country House, we noticed that six of the other nine cars had personalised number plates. That sums up the appeal of Ston Easton: a chance for the aspirational city dweller to experience a bit of the Downton Manor style. Overall, it was good fun. Unlike many such hotels,...

The copper beach trees at the back of the hotel are stunning, even when the sun isn't out. The hotel itself is slightly faded, but has an efficient new manager. Dinner was very well cooked, though the wine list is slightly bizarre, having cheap bottles and very expensive ones, but not much in between. There's only one half bottle of...

Many years ago, my husband and I stayed at Ston Easton Park several years in a row. Then the couple who owned it sold it to a hotel and we didn't like the change. So, after a gap of about 15 years we decided to try it again (a trip down memory lane). It is now owned privately, and has...

A beautiful house in a lovely setting - stayed overnight for dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was well appointed with lovely touches including slippers, dressing gowns and a nice selection of room refreshments. Dinner was lovely but we really liked the breakfast with home made jams and fresh local produce. The grounds are well appointed with a lovely walk...

Lovely place with good cuisine, but we went there on a mid-week DBB deal with tasting menu, and they had spoiled it by over-economising on the offer, so we got: * So-so bedroom in the attic (no lift) in what had probably originally been the servants quarters, although it did have a splendid bathroom * A 5-course tasting menu that...

Mum was brought up nearby during the War & had always wanted to visit, as her sisters had worked here when it was a family home. What a beautiful place with great hospitality. We had afternoon tea and then allowed to walk around various parts of the hotel, the basement with its old kitchen billiards room & lounge all show...

My wife and I stayed at Ston Easton Park Hotel for one night and had an excellent evening meal which was very impressive. The gray front facade of the building is deceiving as, once inside, you are aware of the beautiful period antique furnishings. There is a lovely large lounge with several comfortable sofas and chairs, and daily newspapers. Nearby...

Stayed here in April 2015 for 1 night with my partner. We had an afternoon tea which was delicious, the dinner was great too! Our room was Chinese themed and it was lovely. Would recommend this for anybody looking for a nice, quiet weekend of luxury.
