Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in Winsford - small but perfectly formed in a lovely peaceful setting. Great walking recommendations from our hosts, including a walk from Winsford itself and another along the shore between Dunster Beach and Minehead. Of course there is always Dunkery Beacon if you feel in the mood for more views.

Excellent comfy dog friendly cottage with beautiful views. Dog friendly enclosed garden & lovely walks from the cottage. Hosts were lovely, friendly & welcoming. Good location, handy for Dunster & Dulverton which are well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

We spent 2 years coordinating with Katherine and Nick for our destination wedding, something that is incredibly stressful to organize from overseas. I can promise you, even if you're in the UK and planning to use Little Quarme as a wedding venue, they will make it seem effortless from start to finish, and you'll be glad you chose to host your wedding ceremony and/or reception there. We'll always remember our special day because of their friendliness, thoughtfulness, and extra special efforts for months on end. We had 22 relatives staying onsite for 3 days, and 2 stayed an extra night on top of that, and the cottages were beautiful. Clean, cozy and full of charm. I can't think of a single element of our wedding and use of accommodation that wasn't perfect. Even if you're only plannign a short stay, you'll have a great time - and that's without even commenting on the stunning scenery that surrounds the farm! A very special place my wife and I plan on returning to often.

If you want a break that escapes the rat race, this is it. The cottages are set in an idylic, peaceful valley where you can't even hear traffic. This was our 3rd visit and we are never let down. We have come home with our batteries well and truly charged and are planning to return every 6 months. The cottages are excellently appointed with everything you need. The site is a mobile phone blackspot but you can hook up to the wifi and talk to people via whatsap. We chose not to to save getting spurious calls from people. Katherine and Nick are perfect hosts and are on hand to offer advice about the local area which is a godsend as there are many unknown places that are worth a visit. The local pub, (The rest and be Thankful) is about 800 yds away and there is a good local shop/petrol station that is very well stocked. The pub is a proper country pub and on the Sunday we had a carvery which was excellent and very good value for money. If you want to walk to the pub without walking down the road, (which has no pavement) you can walk across the fields and onto a bridle path that brings you out just by the shop. I cannot speak too highly about Little Quarme. It is an absolutely beautiful part of the world and one that you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you Katherine and Nick for another brilliant stay and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

Thank you very much for your lovely review - looking forward to seeing you again next year. For prospective guests looking at the review - we do get very good EE reception as there's a mast in the field at the top of the drive but if you're any other network then it's indeed a very cold spot!

Think I’ve probably stayed here about 4/5 times, the cottages are always spotlessly clean, Katherine and Nick are so friendly and welcoming. Feels like home in the cottage, what more could you ask for. Nothing is too much trouble. I’m even able to take my horse on holiday with me. Highly recommend 😊

Just made our third visit to Little Quarme and we have never been disappointed and we're booked in for next year already. We went with a group of friends, all dog owners. Apart from the wonderfully peaceful location, this is an ideal retreat for those with dogs as they have plenty of space to run freely and safely (dogs and owners!). The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped and the Copper Beach Room is ideal for group gatherings and activities on a rainy day. There's a decent pub and convenience store within walking distance. Looking forward to returning next year already.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions in different cottages. The accommodation is fabulous, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and with everything you need included. The owners, Katherine and Nick, are friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to ensure our stay is perfect. The cream tea on arrival is such a treat after a long drive. Set in beautiful grounds with lovely walks from the cottage, there is a local shop, and pub doing food a short walk across the fields. There are loyalty discounts for returning customers - and we keep returning!
