Having just spent 8 days at this hotel I felt I ought to praise the staff for consistently being friendly, helpful and welcoming. In particular was Niki B who's shifts seemed to coincide with my getting back from work each day and as I was there for what I imagine was a longer than usual stay it was lovely to be recognised and asked how my day was. Thank you!

The hotel itself was a perfectly normal Premier Inn, clean, comfy bed and a good shower.

We had an overnight stay here recently and felt compelled to write a review. Check in was so straight forward and the person behind the desk couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was spotless and you could smell the bleach as you walked through the door (very important considering the current situation). We hadn’t booked a table for an evening meal but this was not a problem, they slotted us in quite easily. The food was also really nice and a good selection available. The staff were also so friend and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Efficiency, Professionalism and Customer Service were excelllent by every member of the staff team.
The Check In staff were really polite and accommodating to our every need with Car Parking, Change of Room for one with a bath, Phone Charger lent from staff member which we returned the following morning.
The Breakfast staff and Chef were really great, even down to little things like providing fresh fried eggs without even asking & redeeming some Leisure Voucher Cards I had to pay for breakfast. Even the lady who was cleaning the rooms on our floor took time to have a friendly chat as we walked past where she was preparing a room.
For Customer Service, Leek Premier Inn is probably the best Premier Inn of the many I have stayed at, even though all that I have stayed at over the years for both Business and Leisure are great too.
Only a small negative was that the toasters at breakfast took ages to toast the bread even on the max setting, but it wasn't really a big issue.
Well done Leek Premier Inn, We will definitely stay again in the future and will recommend you to all our family, friends & colleagues.

I have previously stayed at this hotel with no issues at all however this visit we were unfortunate enough to be checked into the hotel by the hotel manager who could not of been more unwelcoming. We asked to book dinner he said it was full, we then asked to book breakfast again he said it was full. By some miracle a slot then became available and he reluctantly booked us in. The restaurant was empty apart from 1 businessman for the whole 1.5 hours we spent in there at dinner so unsure why he advised it was fully booked and same story at breakfast. (All other staff were more than helpful and very friendly)The room and bathroom were clean however as soon as we got our children to sleep the ceiling started leaking in several areas so neither myself or partner could sleep with all the dripping (we didn’t want our children to be disturbed if we contacted reception) reported this the next morning to be advised they were fully aware that water pours from the ceiling in this room and are waiting for maintenance to fix the issue. Not happy we were put in a room when they were fully aware of a problem, we couldn’t even walk to the bathroom without getting wet. Overall it would appear that this premier Inn couldn’t care less about its guests

Response from Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, Other at Premier Inn Leek Town Centre
Responded 28 Jun 2021
Hi Laura Thanks for taking the time to share your review. It's a shame to hear there was a leak in your room that the team were aware of and that your check in experience wasn't up to our usual standards, this certainly isn't the experience we want for our guests. Our restaurants do have limited availability at the moment, especially with current social distancing measures in place, however we're sorry to read that this didn't appear to be the case when you were there. Your comments have been passed on to the Senior Management for the hotel so they can pick this up internally with their teams and will do everything possible to ensure your experience is not repeated. We hope you'll give us another chance in future for a much better stay. Kind Regards Amy

Excellent customer service - the team who worked 24-27th June were so helpful and kind and made our visit very enjoyable stress free. They were all very busy but so efficient, polite and attentive. We had three children including a small baby, and they were really helpful with baby food prep and disposing of nappies etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you - especially to Riley (I think that was his name!)

Have stayed at Premier Inn Leek before when walking in the area. It is basic bit reliable and remarkably quiet for a busy hotel. Room cleaning for a multi night stay is now "on request" but the full day rate is still charged. Breakfast and parking are not included so you end up paying as much as you would for a more up-market hotel. I was woken twice in the night but because I could not identify the source of the disturbance, and report it immediately, the "good night guarantee" did not apply. Not sure I would stay here again next time.

This was an overnight stay to meet up with family. The car park is right next door which was great. The rooms are much smaller then we’re used to in Premier Inns and the bed felt smaller too. Breakfast was disappointing as there wasn’t the usual range of cold items and the buffet looked as though it had been there hours! However the chef offered to cook my husband some fresh eggs and bacon which was nice of him. Overall everything was ok but felt £70 was expensive for the small room.

Room spotlessly clean when we arrived. Well soundproofed so we got good nights' sleep .Staff very obliging- nothing was too much trouble .They all worked very well with the additional burden of complying with Covid 19 regulations and went out of their way to ensure we were kept safe. Breakfast had slightly less options and help yourself format largely replaced with table service meaning a longer wait but understandably so . Nevertheless staff did exceptionally well under difficult circumstances so we were very grateful for the good quality items that were supplied. One of the best Premier Inns. Looking forward to going back sometime.

I recently stayed at Premier Inn Leek for several nights as a result of personal circumstances related to covid.
From the time I entered the hotel every member of staff went out of their way to support me via a perfect balance of professionalism, compassion and practical concern for the circumstances I was facing. Their kindness was hugely appreciated and really helped during what could have otherwise been a very difficult stay.
The facilities are exactly what you would expect in a Premier Inn, the location is central for Leek and the restaurant venue looked great although was not open due to covid.
Highly recommended and a huge thank you to the wonderful staff!

Would have given this a 5 but were put in rooms far away from each other despite booking 2 rooms. There was advertising for parking at £5 per night so my daughter paid for 3 days as the sign said . When they got inside the receptionist said they could have parked for free but would not refund the money. When they asked for an extra towel as they had only left one towel in the room for two friends, they came back to find it had been thrown on the floor of the room. When they ate on the first night there was only a limited menu and no prices displayed. It appeared that it was just the premierinn staff microwaving food. They had to get up multiple times to ask for cutlery, desert menus, to pay etc as the staff were watching football. Even when they ordered desert they had a 16 minute wait even though the place was empty and again they had to get up and ask.

There is a door from the restaurant that opens onto the high street which implys they are happy to take external breakfast bookings. The restaurant wasn't full when we were there so I'm sure they won't turn you away. I would just give them a quick call to confirm.
