Cheap and cheerful, that is about all can say about this place. Friendly manager easy and very quick check in and check out. Walking distance to the town and couple of miles from Cannock Chase for MTBing.

For the price (£45) it's hard to be critical. Receptionist was pleasant and welcoming. Rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The rooms need a refurb, but for somewhere to rest your head, it is fine.

Although it was rather noisy standing outside of the hotel once you were inside you could hardly hear a thing. Great for an overnight stay or two,has a Burger King and Subway next door if you like that sort of food. Will definitely stay again.

Only 2 positives: Welcoming reception. Clean bed. The rest was the worst: All carpets in communal areas covered in debris so clearly not hoovered very often. Decor very drab and in need of refurbishment. Hotel adjacent to garage, BurgerKing and Subway so loads of noise & activity. Noisy road. Maybe just on Saturday but loads of shouting, screaming and swearing...

The first room I was shown to, smelt strongly of dog, I aske for another room and without hesitation I was offered another room. However, this the bathroom floor was wet and filthy. Staff acknowledge that this was not acceptable and move to another room. This room was acceptable. The staff are lovely and very helpful, however, the maintenance of...

Stayed here for a night out locally. The parking is limited due to locals quite openly using the Travelodge, Burger King & Subway car parks regularly for their own permanent use, this needs looking at!! The staff member was friendly enough, gave us a very 'old' looking key for our hotel room and corridor access, we felt security could be...

We stayed here for 1 night. It was clean & comfortable. It is a basic hotel but that reflects in the price, if you expect luxury you have to pay a lot more. There is a Burger King & Subway next door for convenience.

We stayed here for one night purely as it was close to a wedding that we were attending (I would normally choose premier inn) The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and there was a huge stain on the carpet in the hallway that looked like vomit We paid £63 for one night with no breakfast (only option was a breakfast...
