This lovely hotel was just right for over night stay on way to Oxford. Nothing too much trouble for lovely welcoming hotel staff.....mentioned I was cold. Heater magic lay appears in room. We had a four poster bed as well. Two caveats.....the hotel clearly has Tamworth's best restaurant Christopher's attached to it. Blithely assumed we would have priority for booking...

Stayed at the Peel Aldergate for one night as part of a family get together and birthday celebration. Parking was no problem as there is a small private car park on site. We arrived around noon, checked into our rooms and then had a 3 course family lunch with 15 people. Very tasty and filling ! The food is excellent,...

Stayed over as we were meeting friends in town for a few drinks. The room was spotless and was very nice. The toiletries provided were of a high standard, plenty of towels and pillows available. The one member of staff we spoke to was lovely and very helpful. Just a couple of gripes - sorry! The bathroom mirror light didn't...

Room was compact but had all amenities, including decent tea and coffee facilities. Good sized bathroom, all very clean and modern. Was in an ideal position for the town centre and had parking on site. Breakfast was excellent, good quality ingredients, all freshly cooked to order.

I stayed in a single room this week for two nights. Although the room was small, it was clean and nicely layer out. There were some nice touches in the room like soaps, shampoo etc. The TV had a good range of channels and the picture quality was good. Wifi was available and signal quality was good. My colleague had...

I've stayed here before and, would definitely stay again. Rooms are inexpensive but, still comfortable. Restaurant and bar are resonably priced. The food is excellent, the staff are warm , friendly and helpful. No need to say more !!!

Went to Tamworth using our free bus passes! Wanted somewhere to eat. Choose this hotel/restaurant and I had the usual fish and chips and my wife had a healthier option and lighter meal. Good food and pleasant service.

I had booked for 2 nights in a single room, but when I arrived, I had been allocated a comfortable double, which was a lovely surprise. The room was pleasant, with a small shower room complete with complementary, quality toiletries, and tea/coffee making facilities. The Wifi worked well. The bed was comfortable, and despite being on the side of the...

As we were going to Drayton manor, we decided to stay over for the night. This place is perfect! Rooms very good, nice and clean! Breakfast is top notch, and all the staff are lovely! It's located very close to the town centre, but only a 2 minute drive to shopping centres etc. Only one tiny fault is the onsite...
