Stayed for one night. Great little bar. Staff lovely and very helpful. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Food was great. Full English. Car parking available. 5 min walk to town. Would definitely return.

I stayed at The Globe for 1 night as most other venues in Tamworth area seemed to be booked or stupidly expensive. I had to have a twin room as that was the only one left. The car park which I assumed was part of the establishment was actually a pay and display although The Globe covered the cost until...

Not been here for years. My parents recommended it...& they were spot on. Pate to start...really lovely. Hubs had soup with a warm roll. Delish. We all had beef....lovely thick gravy, veggies (cabbage, carrotts, spuds, peas), all so tasty & homely. Polished it off with spotted dick, hubs had cheesecake. £9.95 each....absolutely worth every penny. They were extremely busy but...

I booked for 14 people with highchair for Sunday lunch celebrate 75th birthday.. We arrived and went to back room/function room.Lots of empty tables . A table pushed together for large group devoid of any cutlery/napkins/glasses or highchair. It felt as if we hadn't been expected. I assumed you make a booking the restaurant dresses table ready. We sat down...

This was my second stay at this place - the last being August 2015. Myself, my partner and our 17 year old son stayed in the triple room (same room as last year). I was a bit disappointed that the inexpensive suggestions which I put forward last year had not be taken up on.... a handrail / grab rail for...

Beautifully prepare food. I don't usually eat meat, but on this occasion ordered braised steak, it was the best braised steak I think I've ever tasted. There is a lady cook in the kitchen at this establishment and after eating there I sent a message to her in the ktichen, asking if she was looking for a husband!! Highly recommended,...

Very so-so. Small room with tired decor. No hair dryer (a hanging offence so I'm reliably informed) and we were treated to the drunken antics from outside of the hotel until well into the early hours though I appreciate that there is little the hotel management can do about that. On the plus side it is inexpensive and the staff...

The worst hotel I ever stay, breakfast very poor, room is filthy, a bathroom is a disaster, shower cubicle is sooo small, I am very thin person myself, but barely fit in there! There is no pressure in a shower at all! The lock in the room is broken additional lock to open took a while, view from the window...

A really nice, friendly place to stop over. We stayed for a night before going onto Drayton Manor Theme Park - which is about 10 minutes in the car. The rooms a bit dated and could perhaps do with sprucing up a little (and one of our rooms smelt strongly of cigarettes- in spite of the "no smoking" signs). Not...

Have just spent a lovely Sunday having lunch here for my sisters 70th birthday. Twenty two family and friends enjoyed a beautiful three course meal plus coffee. There were plenty of vegetables, gravey and sauces to match the choice of meats, everyone went home very satisfied.
