Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great stay at the hotel, clean and updated with a very well spread breakfast, friendly staff and ample of parking for hotel guests I would definitely return, both my children 20 & 9 enjoyed there self and the fireworks were excellent, The extra Halloween activities I booked and paid for were running behind booked times and the wait to get on them was really bad it could have been better organised especially for access pass holders, I ended up missing out and cancelling because of this, I did get a refund for the two extras but it would have been better to experience them after investing money to stay over in the hotel to have a full fun packed break

Honestly amazing. We stayed for one of the family Xmas sleepovers and it was perfect. Lady on reception lovely and friendly and made a fuss of my son. He was given a letter to Santa to write and there was a little post box to put it in. Lovely touch that he had a reply posted under the door ready for him when he woke the next morning. We had a drink in the bar and watched the entertainment. Drink service super slow but entertainment was good and drinks reasonably priced. Room was lovely - clean, warm and cozy as it was freezing out. Breakfast lovely in the morning too. Just missing fried eggs. Had characters wandering round speaking to the kids. Decorated beautifully for the kids. Ready to book for next year already!

I was transferred to this hotel whilst on an overnight stay for work. The hotel I'd originally been booked into was a filthy hole so I moved to Drayton Manor. I've never been more relieved to get to another hotel. The reception was welcoming, the staff member on duty was friendly and informative and the whole area was decorated for Halloween which was delightful. The room was large well lit and overlooked a wooded garden area at the back which had a beautiful sequoia tree and lots and lots of outdoor seating. The bathroom had a bath with shower over and the toiletries were nicely scented. In the room the tea and coffee facilities were plentiful and if you needed to keep anything chilled there was also a mini fridge and a hairdryer. My room also had a sofa bed, with a small side table, so it was possible to eat dinner without having to camp on the bed or sit at the desk. All in all a very comfy clean and bright room. Best of all was watching the wildlife from my window in the morning. Who doesn't want to see a squirrel just before breakfast!

One of the best family vacations I've ever taken. There is something for everyone - we had our grandkids with us, ages 2, 5, and 7 who had an amazing time. Their parents did too, as there are just as many rides for adults. The rooms, the good, the customer service - all of it was fabulous. We will be back!

This is the First time I have ever left a review and I have travelled an awful lot, all over the world and this was by far the worst standard of hotel I have ever stayed in. Team on reception look so miserable and unengaged but I honestly think this is down to the amount of complaints they have to deal with daily due to very poor management. Checked into our family room and the beds weren’t made on the pullout . However the duvets and mattress had blood stains on them which I complained about straight away but after waiting a few hours in the evening to get it sorted, nothing happened and was totally ignored so our child had to stay in our bed. Went to the restaurant for food in the evening and it was very quiet however the wait time was extremely long and my wife physically couldn’t eat her food as it was cold and solid. I won’t even comment much on the breakfast but all I am saying is it’s the WORST breakfast we have EVER eaten.. well we tried to eat (one fork full was enough) I really don’t know what company supplies their food but it is shocking!!! The arcade area was also terrible whereas most machines didn’t work and water was dripping through the roof when it was raining and the carpets were soaked and stank of a really bad damp smell.very dangerous having water dripping into electric’s so I quickly got my child out of there!! I complained about it all when I checked out but they weren’t interested at all. I then sent an email and had a reply from their operations manager Mark Chapman who offered me a small discount if I booked again!!! ( as if I would visit again) he then kindly tried to make up a load of excuses and at one point tried to make out that I was lying however he hadn’t properly looked into my feedback as he got my information and holiday dates wrong. I responded back to him 2 weeks ago to ask him to fully investigate it again and get the correct booking details but he has since ignored my emails and it just proves that they don’t care about customer service and satisfaction and once they have your money that’s that! I have now contacted their investors to make them aware of their poor standards and poor management at their resorts. If you are looking at booking don’t bother and book something down the road for half the price. Drayton Manor theme park itself was very good and is well worth the visit however the hotel is terrible!! Photo attached is of the bed we were expected to sleep in

Room Tip: Don’t bother with this dirty and badly managed hotel and book a local hotel much cheaper.

We went for a meal at the Brasserie and the staff were very friendly and efficient as always. Especially Mateo who went out of his way to check for my food allergy when I asked about ingredients. Thank you so much. I hope your managers realise how helpful you are.

I was working at the site for a Motorcycle event ("Ride To The Wall"). The management & staff were superb and looked after us throughout the weekend. Flawless, exceptional service. I'm extremely grateful that the Management at the theme park & hotel are kind enough to allow us to use their site as a starting point for our event each year, and hugely appreciate the efforts they make to ensure our needs are accommodated. No hesitation in recommending the Hotel to others.
