We had our Wedding at The Castle Hotel and what a wonderful time we had the table decorations i gave them to use looked beautiful and the room looked gorgeous. They made everyone feel welcome and attention to detail was very good and the servers did an amazing job . We had lots of compliments from our friends and family about what a lovely time they had . word can not explain how amazing all the staff are at the castle hotel..!! I recently had my wedding day there and from beginning to end they were wonderful. the hotel itself is spotless & the service you receive there is 5*. the hotel rooms are so lovely and the breakfast is delicious. the reception staff and the night porters can't do enough for you....!!! i highly recommend this venue for a wedding, party, or even just a nice cosy night away

Wow wow I've just come out of my wedding bubble from the castle hotel it was the most amazing day and night all the staff that listened to all my details how u wanted my tables dressed , the room looked amazingly we was truly looked after , an I just want to add sammie wow what a woman I must of been the most nervous bride in the world she calmed me down looked after me then all through the day making sure everything was perfect and run smoothly, even all my family commented how lovely and helpful she was sammie thank you from the bottom of our hearts you truly made our day so special ❤️ last but not least the room was fantastic beautiful the bath was huge big enough for two 😉, an breakfast was fantastic, so thanks to the castle hotel you guys are fantastic Mr and Mrs swift ❤️ xx…

My husband and I got married at the castle hotel last weekend and it was an amazing day. Mike was very informative and helpful. Leah organised everything perfectly. Then my amazing toast masters Taylor and Sammy, they have the patience of saints and nothing was to much trouble. The venue was perfect for our Harry Potter themed wedding. Food was lovely and rooms were quiet and comfortable. Thank you all you're the best.

We got married on the 16th September, we cannot thank Sammy and her staff enough for making our day as special and straight forward as it was! We could not fault anything, always went above and beyond for all our needs, perfect stress free day I never had to worry about anything. The room was set up beautiful just as we wished! The day flowed so perfectly and easy! The castle hotel and there amazing team are the absolute reason you do not need to spend an absolute fortune on your wedding day as this was beyond perfect at very very good price! Thank you so much! I spoke with one of the Castle Hotel’s receptionists today, her name was Bonnie and I have to say she was the most helpful, polite and well mannered receptionist I have ever encountered. She tended to my every need and was very helpful when I was enquiring about the wedding packages. She explained the packages so informatively and beautifully. It was a pleasure to have been given such good customer service as you do not find that in many places anymore. I will definitely be booking my wedding here thanks to her help!

It was my wedding day, my ushers had pre booked a room, so did my bridesmaid and my mother I law, we were told previously that they could have an early check in so the ushers could get ready and greet the guests, and so the bridesmaids had enough room to get ready, this did not happen. The ushers didn't get to greet the guests as they were told the rooms weren't ready, the bridesmaids were told they didn't have early check-in so they had to get ready in my room, it was the hottest day of the year and the rooms are not exactly big. This is the worse bit, my mother in law can hardly walk and her room wasn't ready until 1.45. We were getting married at 2pm, thus she missed 10 minutes of the wedding and was sat right at the back, as she was rushing to get ready she fell up the stairs and hurt her back. We have emailed Lauren twice to tell her this, no reply. Sammy done an amazing job throughout the day and nothing was too much for her, she was fantastic. The evening buffet was an absolute disgrace for a grand. Overall I had a good day, thanks to Sammy. This hotel needs updating and painting, the staff don't care once you're married, any discrepancies like mine, they don't want to know, this hotel cannot deal with 2 weddings on the same day, would I get married here again? Never in a million years …

I booked this 7 months ago and paid full amount with booking. Com when getting in touch with the hotel the day before I was arriving i was told that the was no room available for me and all they would say is get in touch with booking. Com. And by looking at the reviews this hotel does a often . So had to book a new hotel which was a lot more money but fair play to booking.com who refunded me

Where do I start extremely rude staff was told rooms would be ready fir 12 as we had wedding we had 2 ushers which needed to be ready for 1pm still no rooms ready for 12 30 so they were late getting ready for greeting guests when allocated my room it was like a pigeon hole with a window that didn't open no fan in room smelt damp.breakfast you had to ask fir glasses and hot food don't think toaster had ever been xleaned I have been in a lot of hotels but thus was disgusting and they said all the rooms were same price I feel I have definitely bee ripped off

Well we didnt get to visit .. had booked months before for a 3 night stay ... our daughter lives in tamworth and we need somewhere to stay for her wedding ... family had also booked to stay here to ... 4wks before we recieved emails saying our rooms had been cancelled.. all given different excuses ..problem with booking system over booking in last few weeks NOTE HAD BEEN BOOKED FOR MONTHS ... reception staff not knowing why it had been cancelled ...we have renovation work being done that weekend ... one reception staff was lovely ... when i called was told the manager of reception would contact me ... some did when i asked for reason for cancelling was not very sympathetic to how upset we were at one pont put me on hold as she had to speak to a customer ... i told her i was a cusomer too. Next person to speak to me told me she was the manager and was bloody arrogant to the fact better we told you now .. you would be in a worse mess if left any later ...asked for a email address of owner /company was told she couldnt give it to me ... i must fill in a query form ... asked how they chose which rooms to cancel ... was informed .. loyal customers ... basically .. how do you know castle hotel ..wouldnt recomend Read reviews have cancelled due to over booking before and also not providing breakfast due to renovations ... …
