Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel is impressive from the moment you pull into the driveway. Room was clean and comfortable. We were given an upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary and a card and chocolates was a nice touch . Food was excellent and Spa facilities superb but most of all the staff were fantastic making you feel very welcome and like old friends. Will definitely return.

Hotel's Favourite
Celebrating our anniversary at Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa was a truly luxurious experience. The staff's outstanding hospitality made us feel exceptionally welcomed, enhancing our stay with a perfect blend of professionalism and warmth. Our accommodation in the "Columbine" suite added a special touch to our visit. This suite, with its ornate wallpaper, expansive Roman bath, and large rainfall shower, provided an elegant and comfortable retreat, exemplifying the hotel's fusion of historical charm and modern luxury. The spa facilities were a highlight, offering a comprehensive range of treatments in a clean and serene setting. It was an ideal place for relaxation and rejuvenation. Dining at Pennyhill Park was a culinary delight. The breakfast offered a wide variety, while dinner impressed with its selection of locally sourced produce. A complimentary dessert, thoughtfully provided for our anniversary, was a sweet conclusion to our meals. Overall, Pennyhill Park is a top recommendation for those seeking a romantic getaway or a wellness break. Its luxurious accommodations, especially the unique Columbine suite, combined with excellent service and superb dining, make it an unforgettable destination.

Would like to thank everyone at PHP especially James Pettitt, for the incredible way my wife and I were treated recently. PHP is a very special place and if you are reading this and are considering treating you wife to a special day please don't hesitate to book. Dinner at the Latymer was amazing and I would also like to thank all the staff and a special mention to Steve Smith who has maintained the very high standards. Hope to see you all again soon.

We went with our two teenage children and our family dog for my daughter's 18th birthday celebration, and dined in the Latymer. It was a wonderful 24 hours, which felt considerably longer, helped by hot and sunny spring weather. We had one perfect room for the dog, with a door to the extensive parkland and its rabbits. The children enjoyed the spa - especially the myriad steam rooms and thermal choices, as well as the outdoor pool. The staff were great, and the gorgeous birthday parfait and english sparkling left in the room were hugely appreciated. The atmosphere is pretty perfectly judged - country house spa luxury hotel with no airs and graces and an emphasis on making everyone feel comfortable. The Latymer is a very good restaurant, a little overpriced - we've had similar quality tasting menus at half the price - and slightly susceptible to Surrey bling habits: the extras featured caviar, wagyu grade 5 beef, a surfeit of truffle dust , a hand-reared Orkney scallop - you get the idea. But on the whole the cooking deserves its star - the snacks and the desserts were world-class - and the staff are delightfully relaxed. The wine list is expensive, as you would expect, with few choices at any level that would be considered reasonable in any non-luxury hotel restaurant. But all in all - if you need to treat yourself, this is a place to do so.

I went for Afternoon tea with my Mum as a birthday treat and had a really lovely time. We were greeted by Arish who was very welcoming and kind. He took the time to explain the two different afternoon teas that Pennyhill had to offer. The sandwiches and cakes arrived and were absolutely stunning. Arish took the time to explain each cake and sandwich in detail and we were regularly checked on by him and Talia, who was very friendly, outgoing and easy to speak with. I was given a birthday cake by Talia which was a great extra touch to the whole experience! I was very impressed with the attention and care that they both had and felt as though they really care for their guests. Overall Very impressed!

A 24 hour break in a haven of tranquility. The rooms are amazing the staff cannot do enough to help. Special thanks to Sinny and the hotel staff for a wonderful experience. Maggie and the Spa team made us feel welcomed and pampered, truly like a 24 hour holiday. The nature trail walk gives great views of the manor house, Lilly pond, and we were lucky enough to see some Deer.

Had a wonderful stay at Pennyhill, we were greeted by Chelsea at reception who was very friendly and helpful and showed us to our room. There was a grid wide power cut during our stay but the team acted fast putting on food outside and offering blankets and some light nibbles whilst the power came back on shortly after, felt like the team acted quickly under pressure and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was absolutely superb as well. Overall highly recommend.

I can't say enough how excellent our recent stay was. I didn’t manage to catch any of the staff members names that dealt with us but each and every one offered top tier customer service from arrival to departure. I would have loved to have named the staff in particular so they could have received the recognition they deserved. Everything was incredible from the moment we arrived – the staff, the facilities, the food etc. with people even paying special attention to our dog which she lapped up. We will absolutely return and are excited to book again at Pennyhill or South Lodge and The Manor House which came highly recommended to us. Thank you for making our stay so fantastic!
