Searched for hotel where we (3 ladies) could stay as we were attending a family party nearby.
I was very impressed with room, reception, decor, facilities, ambiance (especially the Christmas decor!) and the breakfast was fantastic - compliments to chef and restaurant staff.
Very disapointed. table for 6, fish came out overcooked and very dry, fillet steak was overdone and cold, sent back. 40 min wait for puddings. coffee very good. Will now be thinking twice about going back.

Yes they accept dogs in the hotel, bar and the new restaurant area. There is usually a bowl of water and jar of dog treats near the fireplace in the bar too. The Ely is right next to Yateley Common, so lovely places to walk... More

I believe at the moment there are no dog friendly rooms available as the downstairs of the hotel is being refurbished. This is due to reopen mid February.
