I've stayed here many times, the staff is fantastic but the restaurant is a waste of time, it's always empty whereas the Mute swan next door is always full.(says all you need to know really) The reason for one star is useless Internet, even the staff know it's no good because they can't connect the wireless payment system to it... We stayed here for 1 night as we wanted to visit Hampton Court. On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome . Our large double room had a beautiful view of the river Thames, the 6ft bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space and towelling robes and slippers were provided. There was plenty... It's not often in life that you get to see the sights feelings and sounds of two of the best things you love, outside of married harmony. The Anastasia concert of 2016 at Hampton Court provided one such opportunity. I could indulge in the second leg of the Ultimate Collection Tour whilst gazing in wonder and awe at the historical... We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 30 years. All the time it was run by Carlton Hotels, things were great - just couldn't have been better. It is now being run by someone else, and things aren't going well. I booked by phone, and specifically requested a front room - 301 or 401. When I... More

Stayed here for Hampton Court. Couldn't have been more convenient. Room was extremely hot and the air conditioner was a huge noisy free standing machine so not the best nights sleep ever! Breakfast was good and free soft drinks in the mini bar with a gift of designer chocolates was a nice touch

I stayed here overnight after a friend's birthday party and was very happy with my well-appointed room and comfy bed. I thought it was worth paying top price! However, that night I was kept awake until 2 a.m. by the people upstairs stomping around. I'd never have a lower-floor room again. But the breakfast next morning was very good -... More

I have read many recent reviews about the Carlton Mitre Hotel, and, to be honest, was a little apprehensive prior to my visit. However, I am pleased to say that our stay last weekend was absolutely perfect. We had an Exclusive room, which came with one of the biggest and most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, a very... Was visiting Hampton Court Palace and made reservations here, which is literally across the street. Our room was large, clean, with an excellent shower/tub; staff at hotel were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Didn't eat at hotel, but pub next door(Mute Swan) had great beer. All in all a good stay, and would recommend-but please... More

I have stayed at this hotel before and had no hesitation in booking again- but this will be the last tme, I had requested lactofree milk for room and hotel drinks- and when I arrived there was none, This need not have been a problem, had they said sorry and obtained some- but they didn't, they just googled where I... Stopped here for a one night business trip - lovely large room with patio area. The bed was massive and really comfy. Bathroom had a great power shower. Lovely view of the river from the restaurant and hotel is within easy walking distance to local bars etc. Hampton Court Palace is directly across the road for sight seeing.
