We had to find a last minute hotel room due to the cold, after we had been without power at home for 3 days and it couldn't be fixed. Our online booking created an error, but the Receptionist, Maria, went above and beyond to sort everything out and find appropriate family rooms for us, despite it being incredibly busy. We felt warmly welcomed and helped out at every stage. The rooms at Farnham were up to date, (unlike some other Premier Inns) fully equipped, functional and clean. Requests for extra milk, toilet issue etc were immediately sorted out, with a smile. Really lovely, friendly staff. We went for breakfast at the Beefeater and they had our breakfast booking with no issues (unlike another Premier Inn). The staff were very lovely and welcoming and we had a lovely conversation while ordering. No waiting at all. Continental breakfast buffet was fully stocked, everything clean and functional. Cooked breakfast was unlimited and nicely done, arrived very quickly. Seconds were offered. Altogether, we felt very looked after and couldn't recommend Farnham Premier Inn and Beefeater enough for this price bracket.
(In contrast, recommend you avoid Petersfield Premier Inn and Beefeater, 2 nights later, they were very inhospitable, unfriendly, questioned our breakfast booking, after 30 mins we had to go and ask them to take our cooked breakfast order, lots of missing items including bowls, broken equipment, dirty crockery and dirty elements of the rooms.) In short, if you are planning on staying at a Premier Inn in his area, make sure it is at Farnham!

Room 8. Early/Mid July 2021.

The staff and location of the premier in, Farnham was very good.

We had a family room with 2 x adults and 2 x children under 12 staying in it.
The room was big enough as the weather was great and we were out of the room during the day.

The car park was large and there was plenty of parking available at the time we stayed. The vehicle must be registered at reception at check in to prevent a parking charge being applied if you stay longer than 2 hours. This is done via a touch screen pad and registering for the amount of days that you are checked in for.

The Beefeater restaurant, next door is very convenient and we found the staff (Oscar, the General Manager). very helpful and accommodating. Plenty of time for a welcoming chat. The food was good quality.

The only things that let the hotel down were the points listed below.
These points aside I would recommend this hotel.

We had a couple of issues with the family room (8) that we stayed in.
The shower head sprayed water all over the ceiling and floor from a leak above the actual shower head. I temporarily fixed it, after referring this problem to reception it was fixed the next day.

The air-conditioning system seamed to be pretty inefficient. This was reported to reception, they have an ability to centrally control the system in the room, they used this as well as getting an engineer to look at the system.
The air-conditioning was marginally improved after this, but it was still quite pitiful at filtering the dampness and stuffiness of the room after a shower, and at cooling the room.
The major factor that contributed to the lack of airflow in the room was the inability to open the windows to allow any natural airflow at all!
Obviously the premier inn staff have no control over this as it is a design feature. I can understand from a security perspective from a ground floor room that the widows need to be secure but from a comfort point of view this design is utterly hopeless!!!

Whilst a bit of a 'first world' problem! The way that the TV in the room is tuned in is incredibly annoying; It appears to be tunes alphabetically instead of numerically.
This means that all of the radio channels are tuned in with the TV channels consequently the traditional and dare I say 'normal' channel numbers for TV channels are nonapplicable!
there is absolutely no way to retune the TV as the channel listings and tuning is apparently set and controlled centrally!!!
For me this was infuriating

Farnham Premier Inn is probably one of the best that we have stayed, Clean well maintained rooms with good beds.
The hotel has hand sanitizer's as you enter and clearly states face mask should be worn whilst in the hotel, so they have that right.
Unfortunately during our stay we only saw 3 other people wearing mask or sanitizing hands, Staff didn't insist.
Maybe all the other guests have a medical condition (Covidiot is not a medical condition).
If these well run business are going to get through this they are going have to enforce the simple directives that they have been told to do.
Only other issue getting coffee and milks for your room, apparently in very short supply, they don't enter your room so you have to ask reception daily and they have very limited supply.

We stayed here for a weekend break as we had to get away as our hometown is currently overrun by people taking weekend breaks!

Having stayed at Brighton (Newhaven) the weekend before this was 100% better, the room was visibly clean and smelled like it had been cleaned, in fact all areas were very clean.

The only downside was the breakfast, which was over cooked, my partner’s quorn sausages were borderline inedible they were so tough, I’m guessing they’d been reheated more than once, and probably in the microwave.

Other than that everything was spot on, from check in to check out, a real effort had been made to keep guests and staff safe during the current pandemic.

As a side note if you’re in the Farnham area and fancy a curry I can’t recommend the “spice station” enough, best Indian I’ve had in years!

Two nights stay with my friend while attending Goodwood Festival Of Speed.
Room was spotless with everything you could need, very quiet at night with no noise from traffic or other guests.
Beds were really comfortable, best nights sleep I've had in ages!

Would definitely return again.

Quietly located on the edge of town, the hotel is close to the shops, restaurants and attractions of Farnham. Offering plenty of parking and next to a great Beefeater restaurant with welcoming staff and nice food. l feel it's ideal, and for a no frills comfortable stay in this lovely old town it can't be beat.

My partner and l have stayed here on numerous occasions now, each time we have found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, actually going out of their way to assist us on one occasion at Christmas , which was much appreciated.

The rooms are pleasant, reassuringly clean, and have all the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, excellent power showers and a lovely hypnos mattress, which we find very comfortable for a great night's sleep.

We enjoy this Premier Inn, and would recommend it to anyone. We look forward to return visits here.

Superb hotel in Farnham, only a little fridge would be helpful in the room. Very clean, comfortable, and good location. The staff were very helpful, the room is quiet. We booked our family room 2 months in advance for £160 for 4 night which is very good value.

I travel a lot with work and rarely leave reviews but felt I should for this place. It’s by far the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed in, clean and well kept. The Beefeater staff are lovely and breakfast is cooked fresh so no stale cold food. The Beefeater manager is usually doing the rounds making sure everyone is well looked after. I enjoy staying here!

Just a couple of nights we stayed as we were taking a trip to Lego Land and at just 20 miles away it’s was far enough away to be reasonably priced.

Reservations were easy and straightforward over the internet, we arrived and checked in with ease. We’re are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children 4 and 1 years. There was a bed for the 4 year old converted from a sofa and a cot for the little one. With tea and coffee facilities.

For the 4 of us the room was quite small but for 2 nights it was adequate but you couldn’t do much more with the room. It’s was clean and tidy on arrival. And unlike some of the other premier inns I have stayed in it had a bath which the other half loved. There’s a Beefeater next door for food and breakfast.

The reason I gave it 4 was the fact that the rooms are not cleaned daily . Now we aren’t messy but with 2 children and one being a baby there is some rubbish and obviously nappies that need getting rid of after the first night the bins were full and the tea and coffee gone and the room wasn’t serviced the following day.we had to go to reception and ask for more tea and coffee and a bin bag to put the nappies and rubbish in. Now I don’t expect them to change sheets or make the bed even but I do think they should replace the tea and coffee and empty the bins. But we just got on with it.

My only other issue was the baby cot came with no bedding or pillows. Just the cot and a hard bottom. Luckily we had some covers but had to ask for a duvet to make a mattress out of or it would have been like sleeping on a floor all of which was provided when asked for.

Staff were pleasant and friendly.

They do have adjoining rooms. I know this because we could hear every word of every conversation through the door into the other room.

Good Morning Julie, Please can I ask that you call us directly at the hotel on 01252 416128 and then we can add the request to your booking. We will always try our best to ensure guests requests are met however i'm afraid its not always guaranteed and is dependent on how quickly guests check out on the day. Kind Regards, Operations Manager - Farnham
