Hotel's Favourite
The hotel accommodations were not only perfect but the staff were amazing and I would rate this location 10 stars if I could. After a long day/night of travel they put us in early, and treated us like family. Perfect location to walk area! My only regret would be only staying one night. Hawkers was delightful as we had friends visit us for dinner.

The staff on shift, Kenje, Sebio (chef) & Iulia were excellent as usual. They are always attentive and are really good with our children. We love the food and it has become a bit of a family tradition to have a breakfast at the Hawkers Brasserie.

Excellent experience. Room service and maintenance both excellent. A problem with a dripping tap resolved without fuss. Michaela on reception very helpful. Breakfast very good and breakfast crew are very cheery. 7 minute walk from Kingston railway station.

We have stayed in this hotel numerous times and on this occasion we noticed a distinct difference in the level of service provided. We arrived after 3pm and we were asked to take a seat as final preparations for our room were being made. When our keys were provided I was not given our welcome biscuits or complimentary water and wasn’t asked if I wanted to leave my credit card. We had made a reservation for the hotel’s restaurant, Hawkers Brasserie & Grill but when we went to be seated was informed there was a large group having a buffet dinner. We asked how large and where they were seated, to be told “maybe 15” and “all over” so we cancelled our reservation and opted to eat outside of the hotel. On Saturday we left our room around midday and returned around 8pm to an unserviced room. The staff member on reception was very apologetic but said it was now too late and he would ensure this would not happen tomorrow to which I added we would be checking out in the morning. He offered me fresh towels and water which I accepted. On check out I was asked the usual “was everything okay with your stay” so repeated the issues experienced. I was then informed I should have asked for the room to be serviced during check-in (not something I have needed to do since COVID). The guest checking out next to me heard this comment and added their room had also not been serviced. As a regular customer of the Hilton group I am disappointed that it was considered my error for not asking.

The hotel was fine. There were a number of issues with our room but the hotel switched us to another room which was good. Breakfast was great! Specifically Iuliana, was amazing! She was very accommodating, friendly and on top of everything! Very sweet!

The service of Kenje, Mikena and Ben N where just incredible, always there, smiling and kind. Thank you guys for the excellent service. The room is incredible, very nice, just need to ask to get the room cleaned next day. The food isn't 5 stars but the service makes up for it.

Everything was very good, nice and comfortable rooms, big bathrooms, very good food. Personnel very nice, A special thanks to Ms Melissa, for her kindness and problem solving capacity, always ready to provide support and help (I had for instance to change room to have more space to work...., amd also in other little but for me important needs). The quality of this hotel is not what one would expect from a Hilton. I stayed with my parents in a junior suite, which cost about $300 USD/night. Upon arriving we noticed loud music from the first floor which permeated all the way to the third. When we asked the front desk they basically said there was nothing they could or would do and we'd just have to wait for the music to end at 11:00pm. We got horrible sleep our first night. The staff all try to be helpful, but they don't have many answers without their manager (e.g. what time afternoon tea is, where can you make reservations etc.). The room was a bit dirty, especially the carpet. It also lacked facial tissue and hand soap. The hair dryer was grimy and sticky. When we did end up going for afternoon tea, I found a piece of plastic in my food as well. This has been my worst stay at a Hilton so far. 10/10 would not recommend. I was told by Hilton customer service a couple weeks ago that the hotel would be in touch with me, and they have not yet, so in terms of customer service, they're all lip service.
