Recently stayed at the hotel for a friends wedding. Beautiful building with plenty of character throughout, small elements of wear and tear which is completely understandable due to the history of the building and the visitor numbers. Food was amazing at the wedding reception. Ordered breakfast room service which was delivered promptly and with care. My only concern was the...

The Priory looks nice but the attitude of the reception is bad, I had to call numerous times before anyone even answered to complain about a trolley full of food that had been left since breakfast in a hallway which was attracting flies and a nasty smell. Reception were very much blaming house keeping and the food wasn't removed until...

Dear Mat1203 Thank you for submitting a review following your stay at Nutfield Priory. The building and setting are beautiful and the best things about this hotel. I stayed last weekend as part of a wedding party, which wasn't taking place at the hotel. If dark and dreary interior design and impossible lighting in the bedroom is what you like then it's great. The bedroom size was OK but the bathroom tiny, a little...

stayed here recently as part of the bridal party for a wedding elsewhere. It's a stunning setting - beautiful grounds, lovely gardens, stunning gothic priory building. The decor is dark, gloomy...aubergine mainly. quite atmospheric but a shame given how lovely the rooms could be if they were light. the library and bar are cosy, and well decorated. Bedrooms were a...

We chose to have a birthday afternoon tea here... Sat us in the Library overlooking the gardens which was lovely. Stunning building and idyllic location but inside building is old and in need of a facelift! Parking limited and bitty so leave enough time to park. Service was good but a bit expensive. If you like very very traditional afternoon...

Dear Katya4880 Thank you for sharing your comments after visiting Nutfield Priory for afternoon tea. We have plenty of parking at Nutfield so I am sorry if you thought it was bitty, we do not usually get negative comments about parking. I booked this hotel spontaneously for a one night break for my wife and I to get out of London for a breather. The building is most beautiful in its original elements but rough around the edges in places. There is an amazing library full of interesting books. We had fun looking through them with drinks after dinner. Our room...
