This place is totally disgusting. I stayed here with my 15 year old in May and there was no hot water for the shower and had been the same for days apparently!!!!. The rooms were stinking and filthy. The bar downstairs is full of steamers and the music and singing goes on until all hours no kidding it was a...

This place is awful. It is dirty and scruffy. The bathrooms are old and mouldy and dirty. This is first and foremost a pub. It is very noisy and i did not sleep. The customer service is non existent. Stay elsewhere.

This is a pub with rooms which are decidedly not good. In my room the carpets were stained and the walls were scruffy. The bathroom has drain issues and the shower was mouldy. I would not stay here again and i would not recommend it to others.

we had top floor with 3 bedrooms 2 toilets, one had big corner bath the other a shower. A well equipped kitchen and a large day room. Clean beds but the place is gradually being improved. Carpets need replaced and some of the bedroom furniture bit dad. On the morning we left windows were being sized up for double glazing....

Not the fanciest place in the universe, but a decent welcome and fun karaoke when we were there. Did not stay there, but popped in while passing. Plenty of choice on the drinks front. Worth popping in for a quick one

It's a rooms above the pub (that should give you a clue). Small rooms, inaccessible WiFi, struggle with parking, but you can use the kitchen, location is great, staff helpful, ASDA is 2 mins away. If I'm about to visit South Shields for short trip - it's a good choice. For longer trip or with a family, well, you should...

On arrival checked in no issues and shown to room, facilities are self catering which was ok, room tidy an clean, but a little tired. The fact of being above a busy public house was no issue, no noise travelled to the room. the friendly staff...

Stayed here the night before collecting my Dutch relatives from the Northshields ferry terminal, as we were going to cycle the C2C . I arrived to a pub full of people who still seem to know how to enjoy life. There was a band playing music from my era so after been shown to my room, I didn't hesitate to...
